Cuddle Odyssey

I was messing around yesterday on here and toying (pipe dreaming might be more accurate) with the idea of a “Cuddle Odyssey.” My idea would be to start in Maine and travel throughout the US and Canada, seeing cuddlers as I go.

I even started plotting a course out, down through New England, the Mid-Atlantic States and into the Carolinas, etc. There are definitely spots where it is harder to find people, and out west especially where a “cuddle portage” might be necessary due to the distances, but in other areas I could imagine that one would spend multiples days to see all the potential cuddlers.

Sadly, I have neither the time, nor the funds, for such a trip, but it was a way to spend an hour or two on a dreary rainy day.

  • I have often plotted a similar expedition! Much like Lewis and Clark did when they came through here!! Especially on quiet self renewal days like this, listening to Americana like Wagon Wheel and I'll Have to Say I Love You in a Song only fuels that fantasy!

A radio show I was listening to yesterday asked people what they would do if they had won the thousand dollars they were giving away; would they pay things off or play with it? One person called in and said he'd use it to take some time off for the holidays and travel to see people he'd lost contact with! How awesome is that? I'd drive, and work as needed so I could spend up to a year just meeting and experiencing. But I also have two high value skills that would be put to use at a local branch of temp agencies.

Traveling around the country, experiencing America and all it's nuances, eccentricities, and a local cuddler to show me around, listen to their amazing dialect(I love voices), make me feel renewed, valued, and oh, the idea's.... :] <3

Definitely a wonderful way to spend a few hours

Thank you alaric1805 for sharing this idea. I’m newer to the cuddling community and this is a wonderful idea. I’m definitely going to think about this today. It’s cold overcast and raining where I am. Now I have a creative way to spend my afternoon.
