Boundaries/Social media..

  • I would be uncomfortable. I think you should definitely warn them and ignore what IG suggests. It’s so scary how our privacy is so compromised.

I also agree with cuddlefaery, the consequences and implications of a woman being found on a different site or in-person are completely different than those for a man.

  • It’s a good best practice to keep social profiles private if you don’t want people coming across you. Invite only, if you will. Otherwise it’s an open invitation for stalkers and creepers to find you in this day and age, unfortunately.

  • I find is amusing that there’s another thread going on about finding genuine friendship yet at the same time, there’s a thread going on about people being creeped out at being found on social media.

  • @Morpheus i think they’re two completely different things. Being found on social media by someone you don’t know well and are not sure about can be very unsettling. But if I’ve hung out with someone several times and have gotten to know them, then over time you get more familiar with them. That’s when that other stuff comes in.

  • Just ignore those pesky recommendations.. pretty please 🙏
Feel free to talk to me on here ♡ Don't add me on Snapchat unless we've had a virtual and that's where we go to video chat

I accidentally see this today . A person from this platform on another social media but I sure did not comment on their video

  • I have had similar, there was a pro I had talked to while on vacation but our calendars would line up, but I notice later on that she showed up on my suggestion in both FB and IG. I simple choose to ignore it, but i goes to show how everything is connected.
