I personally think other sites have stronger foundations for connecting with others.
It would seem appropriate to connect through social media at some point but I wouldn’t bring it up unless it felt like all parties were comfortable.

From my experience here, especially from what I have read in the forum, most or some people prefer privacy here. This is why quite a few don’t post a photo, phone number, email address or links to their other social media profiles. I would say the majority actually but eventually I guess it’s possible if a close friendship develops. It’s been made pretty clear that quite a few want to keep their CC membership a secret.
Connections are always based on your level of effort and the energy you put out into the world. Reaching out through polite messages is a fantastic start.
