Stroud’s Chicken in KC. Founded in 1933 they are famous for their tagline “We Choke Our Own Chickens” which was on a sign outside the original building. I had the good fortune of eating at the original building in South KC which means you ate at a table on a slanted floor which consisted of the original timbers. I am sad the original site is gone. But it continues on in the suburbs.

I'm particularly a fan of Bon Chon (Korean Fried Chicken) or KCOOP (also Korean Fried Chicken). As for the bigger chain names I'd have to go with KFC extra crispy.
Oh also how could I forget the popcorn chicken at "Kim's Home Cooking" in Chicago.
I really liked when KGC was available
I guess I didn't really think this through because chicken nuggets is going to be different than than someone's popcorn chicken or a grilled chicken or a whole ass chicken leg. Church’s but, has to be in the hood. If it’s surrounded by HOAs it’s trash. Same with Williams.
