Showering beforehand

So, I see a lot of ladies say, “please come showered with clean clothes”. Is that really a problem with some men?

I would be so embarrassed. Clean and Fresh is always my standard.

Thank you.

  • If it wasn't a problem, it wouldn't need to be mentioned.

  • And I’d add, men tend to be way more enamored with their aftershave and cologne than women are. At least most of the women I’ve spoken with. It’s ok to skip it. 🤷‍♀️ clean and fresh and deodorized are just fine by me.

  • And don't forget a recent tooth brushing and possibly breath mints. Yes, it's a shame grown ups need to be told basic hygiene.

  • I use no less than half of a can of whatever Axe body spray they have at the dollar store myself

  • It's either that or Sex Panther, but due to the popularity of Anchorman it's all sold out

  • 60% of the time, it works every time.

  • Considering the nature of this site I'll take those odds

Yes. Planning to meet after going to the "gym", "after work " or ..a "jog" is not fresh. I can't tell you how many times.. this was mentioned before I finally wrote it in my profile about hygeine.

I had a smoker get out of the car and walk up to the coffee shop, reaking of cigeretres very Stinky. Needless to say. We never cuddled or met again.

Please be freshly showered! And yes @Blue mints or gum!

  • Someone's standard was smelling of sandalwood on top of their sweat 😓 it was horrible. I refunded an hr and told him to leave early. Bleh 🤢

  • And some mouth wash, and gargling and if your diet is mostly spicy garlic and onions, all the showers in the world won’t do much good. Your diet can make you smell badly, even your clothes, shoes, socks. Seriously.

  • It's definitely a problem!

  • I think the hygiene for both involved is a top priority. You want to be at your freshest and without foul body odors

  • I always shower, wash my hair, floss and brush about 20 minutes before a session. One of my cuddlers once told me, a dude came in a hot summer day sweating bullets without a change of clothes and smelling like turd blossoms. 🤮🤮

In addition to showering immediately before leaving for a cuddle, I bring a whole hygiene kit with me in my cuddle caboodle just in case. That way wherever I am I’ve got whatever I need to maintain that freshness.

I also change out of all my street clothes. Including changing my socks and ask my cuddle bud to do the same when we meet wherever we are meeting. I don’t need your old sweaty socks touching me. And I’m sure you don’t want mine touching you. 🤷‍♀️

  • I always shower and apply deodorant right before my sessions. I also ask my clients if they have any sensitivity or allergy to a fragrance, so I can choose my lotion/perfume accordingly. Unfortunately not everyone cares to arrive smelling fresh🫠🫠🫠

  • As a fur faced human it is important to use beard butter and softener, and proper facial grooming as well so that it is both soft and good smelling

  • @pmvines 💯 beards are like having a pet. You’ve got to take care of them and commit to them. 😂

  • Yup doesn't do you any good to wash your hair and deodorize if your beard smells like a dirty dog

  • While it may be most people’s standard, I do have a deep empathy for people who may be on the spectrum or have depression that makes hygiene difficult. :/ I’ve been around loved ones who have been in a state of depression for so long that I truly don’t even think they’re aware of how bad the smell is. It’s heartbreaking 💔

  • 100% agree with that @Brandi
I thought the site says we should arrive for a session freshly showered and wearing deodorant though, which in my mind is helpful and clear to anyone who might not think to otherwise.

  • Sorry, but it's not good enough to have had a shower before a cuddle session, if you then go on errands on route, get all hot and sweaty while traveling hours to a cuddle session. Another example, if you brush your teeth before you leave, then eat a smelly sandwich on route! Long story short, I don't trust anyone. You need to have a shower and brush your teeth while I am there, so I know you are actually clean. No, I don't have OCD, just dont like sweaty armpits or breath right near my nose. 😅🤦
I could write a book about people who just smell because of certain foods that they eat! ( The smell comes out through sweat!) How would you know about that through a video call? 🤷😆

  • @Alissoninchains great job outing yourself as a creep who breaks the site rules.

  • @cuddlefaery shooting the messenger as always. Some things just never change

I typically shower twice a day. Partly because I work two jobs. I either use Buff City soaps or Squatch, but that's it scent-wise. Oh, and I use a very mild sandalwood beard oil. Haha! I had a male customer who I was working with at his house tell me I smelled really good. I thought that was strange, since he was standing outside in his robe with a cup of joe, but still was happy to hear it.

  • @Brandi I once had a cuddler, obviously going through issues at the time, suffering with depression etc. He arrived very unkempt. I was very delicate about it, but also firm that i couldn't have a cuddle session with him in that state. I provided everything for a shower, tooth brush , deodorant even clean clothes. He did get cleaned up and we had a great cuddle session. He was apologetic and grateful afterwards. Had he been reluctant to get cleaned up, unfortunately I would have had to show him the door. 🤷😢

  • I don't use perfume and try to use fragrance free products as much as possible. I have never had a stinky cuddledr. I consider myself lucky!
