When they have a paused account, does that mean they blocked you or does it mean they got hacked or?
It means they've put their own account on hold so they won't show up in people's searches. But they can still talk to the connectiions they already have.
I'm currently on pause because I'm not looking for any new cuddlers right now.
Or, what's happened to somebody whose account you can't find/see.
Deleted is the permanent removal of one’s own account. (Although the person can 'undelete' within a short period of time.)
Deactivated is the temporary version of Deleted.
Muted - if you want to hide yourself from search results but still use all of the other functionality of the site (forums, browsing profiles, sending messages), you can mute your profile. Muted profiles can still be found through message history or direct link.
Blocked means the person has blocked you. You can't see their account, and they can't see yours, and they won't appear in your Search results. You can still see each others' posts in the forum.
Username change - a direct URL to their old username will redirect to their new username. Username changes have a 365 day wait period before you can change it again. There is no visible indicator that a user has changed their name, other than the name on the pre existing conversation in your inbox will change to the new name
Paused is a suspension of some sort - either for age verification, identity check, pro-upgrade, or the site failed to charge a booking % fee (pro account) (most common). These accounts will come back if they correct the issue. How long they are paused for depends on the response time of the user. Paused does not carry a negative implication - it's essentially administrative
Timeout does exactly what it says. The account will return to normal in a week or two, depending on the length of the timeout. Most people do return, although a few go off in a huff and never come back. Timeouts can apply to the forum, or the main site, or both.
Banned - the person broke the terms of service in a way that caused their account to be closed by a moderator/admin. Some banned accounts submit an appeal, of which a small percentage get a second chance. Accounts are not banned for a minor, first offence: only serious or repeated offences result in a ban. The moderators have other sanctions available to them.
Note that the moderators, who do most of this, are ordinary members of the community. They are enthusiasts and clients. Volunteers, who are not paid. They work hard at a tough job, much of which is behind the scenes, because they want to contribute to the cuddling world.
With thanks to @MonkeyNeedsAHug and especially @cheeseboy, who actually wrote most of the above. I have just edited and expanded on their posts. Here's the source:-

Confusion is sometimes caused by forum participants using imprecise language when discussing these matters. In other words, if somebody says "X has muted" it might be worth checking in case they actually mean "X has deactivated".
OH then I said that wrong - thank you for the clarification!!
Thanks @CuddleDuncan! I have spent a great deal of time looking for a list like that and only ever found a partial. 'Preciate it!
@CuddleDuncan Thank you so much for this post. I have a question. There is a a Banned member that keeps logging back onto CC for the last 2 days. So I'm assuming they are trying to appeal the ban. I'm worried that they might win their appeal. Do you know how long the appeal process takes?
@MTex Banned users get one chance to appeal. Appeals are seldom granted, and in the few cases that they are, it doesn't take long.
@JoyfulHeart Thank you so much!
I paused today when I walked outside and had the breath taken from me due to the swampy Alabama heat today
I can't find a way to search the forums, forgive me if this has been asked and answered. What does the "lock" icon mean on some profile pictures? Thanks!
They are private photos that the user can share on an individual basis. You can request to see those by messaging that person directly.
@Matt2358 The "lock" icon indicates that an individual has additional photos that are not "public". Meaning they have 1 public pic everyone can see, but there's X amount you can't. Typically if you're making a booking they will "unlock" them. Also, if you become friends they become visible. An enthusiast (non-pro) might become friends with Pro 3000 miles away, will never book because of distance but their online "personalities" match from board comments, etc.
Hello, I just signed up a couple days ago and I haven't gotten used to the UI so apologies if this has already been asked.
Today when I logged in, I noticed that I was flagged for charging language (or something like that). I haven't really put much thought into charging as I'm more aligned with finding someone to cuddle with at this time, but I wanted to know if this is asked to everyone.
I don't believe I've had charging language in any interaction (Only sent one message and it was an initial reach out saying I liked and agreed with their profile) but I just wanted to see if that was a standard flag or if I need to go back through my profile and my message to see where I gave the system that idea.
Can other members flag me for that behavior?
Thanks for the help in advance.
@starchip most likely someone thought your profile sounded like a pro's and reported you as an untagged pro. If you're not planning to charge for services at this time, then you can always ask the mod who sent the warning for clarification.
From looking at your profile now, I don't know if you already changed it but I didn't see any pro-sounding wording, so you should be fine.
@CuddleDuncan I have a question..Recently I was trying to set up a session with a pro I've seen before only to find out that she's been put on timeout. Is that something that should concern a client?
@jonnyquest no, there is no need to be concerned. Once the Timeout has run its course the matter is closed and the professional is back to normal. Although hopefully a little wiser.
Common reasons for Timeout include, repeatedly exchanging contact details before a Booking has been made and accepted; and being disrespectful to the site rules e.g. by re-uploading a photo that was removed.
Note that second and subsequent sessions must be Booked in the system as the first one was.
[The most common reason for a professional's account being Paused is that their credit card details held on file have expired.]
May I share contact information with an enthusiast even though we do not have a confirmed booking? We do not have a confirmed booking because an enthusiast can’t make a booking through the site.
@Giver1 You can't book enthusiasts because they're not pro cuddle providers and don't charge. The booking system is only for professional cuddlers.
Enthusiasts are allowed to exchange contact information as they choose.
@Giver1 adding on to what @BlueIris said:
The reason pros are not allowed to exchange contact info prior to booking is because it's used as a means to bypass paying their commission to the site. This isn't an issue with enthusiasts as they are not cuddling for pay.
Just note: many of us enthusiasts also prefer to keep most communication on the site for safety reasons. While messaging off site may be more convenient, it lacks the layer of safety from oversight. Some cuddlers may be fine moving chat off site prior to meeting, but I hazard a guess that most will prefer keeping on-site until they've established trust with you.
