Cuddling a pregnant girl

  • @BlueIris Thanks for the link! Definitely hadn’t considered that as a potential issue, as sessions are strictly platonic. Thanks for sharing.

  • I can only speak from my experience as a man with two kids and my wife—take that for what it’s worth. But here’s what I learned: pregnancy changes comfort needs constantly, and what works one day might not work the next.
More important than any advice is open communication. Ask her what feels good, what doesn’t, and be willing to adjust. Every pregnancy is different. Some partners love close cuddles; others need space or specific positions to ease back pain or pressure on their joints.
The best thing you can do is check in, pay attention to her cues, and let her body guide what works. She knows her own comfort better than anyone.

  • Do men not know the nature of their fellow man? I’m genuinely confused as to why the comments focusing on her and the baby’s safety seem to mostly be coming from women, while others are only mentioning uncomfortable factors and saying communication and vetting should be enough to cuddle strangers while pregnant. Some of my worst cuddle sessions have been with very successful men who had good karma and knew how to conduct themselves in public. Success, reputation, and a good public image do not always tell the full story of how someone may behave in a private setting. I understand there are pros who have cuddled while pregnant and are still active on the site, but when you are bringing an innocent being into the picture, even a small risk may not be worth taking. Ultimately, it is her decision, but it is still important to acknowledge and consider.

  • There's nothing confusing about it. The OP asked,

I’m wondering if anyone has an opinion on cuddling a pregnant woman.

As a result, she's getting lots of feedback.

Obviously, she can choose to not cuddle at all. Asking a question doesn't commit anyone to do anything that they're not comfortable with doing, even with successful men.

  • I already mentioned that it’s ultimately her decision. My point is that no amount of vetting is 100% guaranteed. When my cuddlers and male friends give me advice, one of the first things they tell me is how many men think. Understanding that has helped me protect myself a little better, and I’m grateful to those men for being honest and looking out for me. That’s why it’s confusing to me that more men aren’t bringing up that perspective.

  • Perhaps now, more men will bring it up.

  • @TxTom I just realized maybe they’re trying to keep it PG-13 on here lol. I forget we aren't in the lounge. Okay, I should take my leave now. 😝
