Didn't know this, i guess there is only 1 legit world cup trophy that the winning nation doesn't even get to hold on to until next world cup. just take pictures with and hold up after which they get a gold plated bronze replica. OG trophy got stolen in the 80s and was never recovered. gotta wonder what happened to it.

I've heard the estimated value of the World Cup trophy is $20 Million so yeah, tat's a ton of money to have that lost again so I can't really blame FIFA. Also I say it's about time the winning team gets rings just like with many sports. They can't take the trophy home with them but the rings are a nice piece of jewelry to indicate you're a champion.
