New season features an episode about Bill seeing a cuddling business. I think we got drug through the mud a little bit. Love the show, but a little disappointed. Reactions?
It's King of the Hill lol. Pick your battles
Did Bill get banned?
Wonder if Beavis and Butthead will have a similar episode
Dammit Bill , were in Texas and it's already 93 degrees outside. If it gets one degree hotter I'm gonna kick yer ***!
As soon as I realized it was a Bill storyline I knew it was going to go down hill. Poor Bill.
Beavis and Butthead can’t afford cuddle pros and I can’t imagine an enthusiast reaching out to them.
Hahah there’s certain shows you absolutely cannot take to heart. South Park/family guy etc, This is definitely one of them as well. I’m currently watching the new season, only a few episodes in, and haven’t gotten to this episode yet but now I’m excited to see it 😂 I can only imagine how hank would respond to something like that with his traditional view points. I’d take the good from it though, someone out there is going to see that, and look into cuddling with good intentions and possibly find and give some amazing cuddles to someone out there simply because they had never heard of it being a whole website. Haha
Thanks for reminding me a new season, of the new season, has arrived! The last season was phenomenal, and I’m so happy the direction it’s going.
Bill is a “sad” character, but only in the sense that he represents a part of all of us. My example would be the episode where he meets Anne Richards - and she’s into him. BUT his awful ex wife Lenora comes back - and he goes back to someone who hurts him time and time again, instead of getting with the governor of Texas. He doesn’t take care of himself, but we know why - he’s got issues and has been hurt A LOT. Idk - he’s human, and part of the human condition can be sadness.
Bill had so many laugh out loud moments. Usually involving dale
I haven't watched King of the Hill in years, so I wasn't ready for the voice changes. Bobby got soo big! I don't think the show dragged us, though. They made sure to portray everything as platonic rather than sexual, which I appreciated. Bill has always been portrayed as touch starved, so it made sense that they chose him as the one who seeks out cuddling. If you noticed, Bill was wearing a clean shirt when he went to see a pro instead of his usual dirty tank top, which showed he was making an effort to take care of himself since he started cuddling. Hank and the others represented the way society often expects men to show affection toward one another. The irony was that they ended up cuddling at the end but passed it off as football huddle, you know "traditional masculinity." It was funny, I liked it. Props to the writers. 💖😂
@TheFunCartel No, but they missed the opportunity to get Boomhauer banned and Dale spamming the forums. 🤣
Stephen Root. Recognize that voice anywhere.
@BellaAine fair assessment. I appreciate that positive take on how they handled it.
@cfdanny That’s light work compared to what South Park would do to us lol. They would have a field day if they found out about the forums. 😂 Can’t wait for it too 😁
@BellaAine so true. Although, now I’m curious what they would do with it. I stopped watching shortly after the arrival of PC Principal. It all just got too dull. It would be nice to see them go back to the original format. Scott Tenerman must die!
I just finished the episode right now 🤣 classic Hank reaction
I spit out my soda when I saw this….I guess we are mainstream now🙂
Is the cuddler based on a cuddler from this site?
OMG ME TOO I FREAKED OUT!
Died laughing then had to send a screenshot to all my friends. I hope Bill found one of the good ones.
This from the new seasons? lol thats too funny.
@cfdanny Oh man, it would've been epic if they had Radiohead singing "Creep" while Cartman was licking Scott's tears. 💀🤣🤣
"When you were here before Couldn't look you in the eye You're just like an angel Your skin makes me cry You float like a feather In a beautiful world I wish I was special You're so fucking special
But I'm a creep I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here
I don't care if it hurts I want to have control"
Cuddlist ?
Where is Joseph and John redcorn?
@trysdet I think they called it Cuddle Clinic.
I just saw the episode. Don't think they portrayed cuddling too badly. Of course, this being King of the Hill, they didn't get too deep. Bill went overboard, started cuddling all day every day and blew through his money. Totally relatable...
I wasn't ready for the cuddle puddle scene, though. And why was Bill wearing jeans to the cuddle session? At least he had a clean shirt on. And those guys just standing on the side watching? weird vibes...
Where's bill getting the money to fund everything. Army barbers pay/pension can't be too lucrative. Spent so many years ordering food delivery too without leaving his house. Kinda forgot what ever came of the dauterive family fortune, maybe that's it. Jobert still out there maybe? Don't remember if he died. I know he came back to shame bill for trying to sell family bbq recipe.
That's kind of the plot of the episode. He starts selling everything to pay for his cuddling habit. The guys intervene, and save the day. It's all tied up in a neat little bow at the end with some appropriate male cuddling (football).
Super satisfying season finale. Explains why Hank went to Saudi arabia and how crucial Peggy was to it.
A++ season.
@BellaAine. You are GenX
