Talking about topics, what kind of topics would you be most interested in talking about on the day

There are many important topics to discuss. For example step number one depression step number two some type of physical illness step number three some type of favorite food step number four. What activities you like depends on what catches your attention or what advice you would give us to have excellent communication.

  • Could you edit that so different items are on different lines? I can't tell what the step numbers mean.

  • I like how the cuddling experience makes it easier to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable more quickly. On the other hand, sometimes I worry this leads me to get into heavier topics too fast and it can take over the conversation, and I leave worrying that I overshared and was too serious. It can be a tough balance!

  • @IronicMaiden I totally understand you. If you want you can write to me in private I will explain briefly in a few words try to say which topic is more interesting for you or all are outstanding in this case that you would like to answer me is something to make you feel at ease a topic that is more important to you

  • @Mariangeel I think we just don't have compatible communication styles. What you write is very difficult for me to read.

  • @Comet85 Well in this case being vulnerable is normal it's just a little fear I know that sometimes the person doesn't have the same emotional respect so to speak but in the same way you can never regret anything or you don't have to do what you feel right and if you feel good obviously with respect you can do it never regret anything here is an important advice and if it catches your attention you feel vulnerable don't worry we've all felt like this that's why I'm here to listen to you

  • @IronicMaiden OK, it's fine, don't worry, I respect your decision, I hope you do well, God bless you

  • God bless you

Please do not say this to me!

  • @Comet85 as a chronic oversharer & overexplainer who frequently doesn't even realize I'm doing it until after the fact and then the RSD kicks in... It's is a rough balance indeed! And I've noticed that most of the people I get along with best tend to prefer the deep dives, the slightly taboo subjects, the wild tangents 🤷🏻‍♀️

What I've tried to learn to do is just to ask beforehand: "are there any topics you don't want to hear about? Would you be comfortable telling me if I'm crossing a line?" It helps a lot with the anxiety if I know the social rules at play. Plus getting consent and negotiating boundaries is never a bad thing.

  • @Mariangeel just wanting to make sure I understand the question correctly: are you asking what topics we like to discuss during cuddling?

  • @cuddlefaery What topics are most important for you to deal with or the people who like to receive hugs? In this case, it would be not the professionals and not the people as such, or if you also like to be cared for by a professional, what topic do you like to deal with?

  • @cuddlefaery Sometimes it seems like the more we need to talk about something, the more we shouldn't. With the added difficulty that the more overwhelmed we feel, the harder it is to say so.

  • I can't tell what the step numbers mean.

    It’s the Time Warp silly.

I just like letting the connection happen naturally. Short answer: I don't have premade questions I would like to discuss.

  • It depends on the person, the one I've seen the most/longest and I haven't found a topic we won't discuss. We've spent time talking about hobbies, movies, future plans (both individual goals and planning future possible cuddles), their kids if they have any, exes, really just whatever comes to mind.

  • I usually just go with step number one

  • "Step One: We can have lots of fun..."

  • I'd like to hear feefback, either good or constructive criticism, on what the professional cuddler(s) do or did that made either a great session or a session you'd like to forget. Trying to hone my craft.

  • Politics, religion, and most “social” issues should be banned from these forums! Too many people get offended and you can’t just have a conversation with ONE person. Conversations about these topics should be kept private between two members. The drama created and existing on this site from other subjects being allowed is distracting and creates an environment that’s anything BUT comforting.

  • No one is forcing anyone to join in on any forum discussion. It's nice to have the option to speak openly and learn from each other and interact with people.

Random conversations can tell you a lot about what kind of person someone is. And give things to think about or maybe talk about during a cuddle. I personally enjoy most of the interactions, amusements, and intellectual stimulation from a good conversation.

That is, until someone tries to derail it.

  • I've met some super cool friends on here thanks to the forums, so I agree!

  • I have a curious mind and can sit quietly without the need to talk. I enjoy listening to people's experiences. I've read a lot and had many adventures. My ease with silence gives others space to talk. We end up having deep conversations and I look for ways to lighten the mood. I appreciate that someone I'm cuddling, admiring a spot on their arm, feels safe enough to talk about whatever is on their mind. I learn a lot from listening.

  • Incontinence during overnight sessions. Why isn’t this on the profiles but children are? These are the questions that keep me awake at night, not my bladder—but someone else’s.

  • A lot of times I just phone it in. I do way better talking one-on-one than I do in a group
