However, people are absolutely welcome to bring picnic blankets! If you connect with someone and the two of you decide to cuddle on a blanket, you are free to do so.

@sweetcuddlerr thereās a lot of free parking and a paid lot by the entrance. It does fill up on sunny summer days, which is part of the reason this is starting at 11 and not later in the afternoon
Yes, I think I'll be there. This feels like another chapter in a journey I've been on for the past couple of years... one that's been less about finding places and more about finding people. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, hearing your stories, and learning what drew you to this community. No expectations... just curiosity.
Cuddling options are available there on site if Yes what would be the arrangements? and prices/specials?
@dumpsta24 As I mentioned above, this is a free social event, not a service booking. There are no prices or arrangements. Professional cuddlers who attend are there as community members. Any cuddling that happens would be decided between the individuals involved, not arranged through the event.
Sorry to say I don't think I'll be making it to this one. It's a bit over an hour drive for me and as it turns out I have something else I'm doing that day and I don't think I could squeeze both in with that drive time. I would have brought swimwear and towel for a nice swim since the last time I did that was when I was in Vegas in June. Hopefully I can make the next one though.

Itās starting to look like rain. The backup plan is board games at the Cove just a couple blocks from the Point. I have a few games, but if you have one youād like to play with the group feel free to bring it.
Hopefully the weather end up holding off because The Point looks like a really nice relaxing afternoon but if we settle on board games I have a lot I can bring. Some that have never even been opened up because I buy games and then have no one to play them with. lol
It would be great to have some cool options. I used to play a lot of games, but most of them disappeared in a move. I still got bezzerwizzer, connect 4, and a couple others.
Definitely. I will go through my shelf over the next couple of days and see what I can find that is easy to set up and learn for small party games. Just in case.
Sounds great! Iāll bring what Iāve got, and Iāll look around for a deck of cards just in case. I know I have a few, I just donāt know where theyāre at.
I think that if we meander to the Cove, it's an awesome place to hang out. I've gone there for drinks with friends. The best part is that the Bears opening pre-season game vs. the Cleveland Browns happens at 12. So, either the Chicago Air and Water show in the background outside... or the Bears/Browns game playing in the background at the Cove... it's a win either way!
Great point! The bears game would be a nice backdrop to board games. The nice thing is it's an easy walk from the Cove to the Point, so if the weather clears mid-afternoon we could always migrate back outside.

@Silveresque1 At this point it looks like we might end up paying board games at the cove down the street, though Iām still hopeful it will be clear enough to spend some time at the lake. Iād recommend bringing snacks and maybe a board game to share.
