profile pictures

Hey everyone,

I'm new here. I was wondering whether it's the norm to include a profile picture. I'm blind and use screen-reading software to access the internet, so I can't really tell how common profile photos are.

One thing I'm thinking about is that I'm a professor. Right now, if any of my students happened to come across my profile, they wouldn't know who I am because I don't have a picture (unless, of course, they read this post and put two and two together 😅).

Part of me feels like it would be awkward if a student recognized me here, but I'm not entirely sure why. There's nothing shameful about being on Cuddle Comfort, and I would simply avoid meeting with a student. I'm asexual and don't date, so this is the first time I've really had to think about questions like this.

I'd appreciate any thoughts, both on whether profile pictures are expected and on how others think about privacy in situations like this.

  • Hey! Good question. If you're here as a client looking for professional cuddlers yes it is common. Quite a few clients have no profile photo. Many appriciate discression for similar reasons to yours aswell as other reasons. Some pros, however will ask/require you to send them a photo of you (as I personally require) apon scheduling a session.

@ApartmentLiver Welcome to Cuddle Comfort! Thank you kindly for asking this question. Photos are always appreciated. It helps with connecting before a cuddle session. For safety, I require a current photo ID for booking. As for privacy, I understand that you don't want your students to see what you do in your private life. Many clients don't post a profile photo but will share one in the messages which is completely acceptable.
