I went to university in Bristol. My first day there I went to the student union for lunch. The dinner lady said, "What can I get you my lover?" and I replied, "I'm terribly sorry, I'm not sure we've met."
@MollyCuddle will understand why that's a mildly funny story but nobody else will so don't worry about it.
