It’s the internet. You should be careful with everyone. You won’t get to know why someone was banned. If you want to be extra careful don’t interact with that person anymore. Be careful about who you give your personal info to. Be safe out there. The mods are already doing a ton to try to keep us as safe as they can. The rest is up to us.
@TableSpoon If she did nothing bad, she can just show you the review and/or communication from mods. If she can't be transparant, I wouldn't trust her anymore. Also, a bad review by itself isnt enough reason to get banned.

Why do people get banned for no apparent reason??? I was chatting with someone and we were discussing meeting this weekend. I went back to read his message and BOOM he was banned 😢. Is there any recourse or appeals process? I’m totally confused.
There are many threads on this subject already. If you use the search bar you will find lengthy conversations about it. There is always a reason. You just aren’t privy to it. People get banned for breaking rules.
@AmazenHugs55 The reasons people are banned are not public information. If you go back to page 1 of this thread, some of the more knowledgeable site users have given likely reasons why someone might be banned.
They randomly ban people on the site to put fear into everyone else.

I personally know someone that got banned without breaking the rules, simply because another cuddler got jealous and literally did a mass report on her profile until it was banned so he could be the only cuddler she’d meet. Anyway, I believe most of the bans aren’t like that. They’re either scammers/thieves or non platonic.
@cuddleffriend if that situation is true, the banned person could appeal and shown evidence to get their account reinstated.
However, it is not at all uncommon for banned people to falsely claim innocence and manipulate supporters. Mods don't just ban on say-so, no matter how persistent a reporter is. Just because someone behaved well with you doesn't mean they behaved well with others. And unless you somehow have access to all their communications, and the mods info, and/or were present at the time the offense supposedly took place - you don't actually know what happened, you only know what that person is telling you.
So the odds are unfortunately that the person did in fact break the rules and is lying or in denial about why. And again, if they really are innocent of the bannable offence, they can and should appeal so that not only they get reinstated, but also so that the person who may have filed false reports can be addressed appropriately.
@cuddlefaery From what I know about the situation, she actually received screenshots from other cuddlers showing that this guy was randomly messaging people and asking them to report her profile. She sent those screenshots to Cuddle Comfort, but apparently never received a response. I also genuinely have a hard time believing she was doing anything sketchy, because she was actually one of the people who warned me about how to stay safe and protect myself from predators on the site. That’s one situation I personally know about, but I’ve heard a very similar story from another cuddler. He knew a Pro who was completely platonic and wasn’t scamming or stealing from anyone, yet she was still banned after what he said was a false report. I really think the admins need to be more careful about how reports are investigated, because a report by itself doesn’t automatically mean the accusation is true. I’ve learned that there can be a lot of behind-the-scenes drama on these platforms, and sometimes something as simple as canceling a session can upset someone enough that they retaliate by making a false report. Obviously real safety concerns should always be taken seriously, but there should also be some kind of fair review process before someone loses their account based solely on another person’s accusation.
I'm going to be very careful what I say and how I say it but like many people here I've wondered why some people get banned.. The last Pro I had a session with was extremely adamant about following the rules and she wound up getting banned the day prior I was going to have a follow-up session with her.. I have a total of 9 Pros that have messaged me over the past 2 years that are now banned.. And I remember some of these having double digit five-star Karma's on their profile. So yeah, more than once I've wondered to myself just what did they do because nothing in our conversations suggested anything other than a platonic experience. Hell it was 2 years ago I reported a pro because she was on an escort site and two sugar baby sites.. If this is going to be my first session with anyone then I do a background check as best I can because at the end of the day I'm meeting a complete stranger... I know the mods do the best job they can because they are volunteers and try to monitor the site whenever they have the time.. But if this site is going to be as safe as possible then we may need to find the time to upgrade every policy we have as far as safety is concerned for both clients and Pros.. So that when someone does get banned it's because it's deserved..
@jonnyquest The mods don’t monitor the site. They receive reports from users and investigate those reports. No report on a profile? No investigation. 🤷♀️
If that pro is flowing under the radar and no one is reporting they will absolutely rack up some karma. That’s why karma isn’t everything.
As for why people get banned, there’s many different reasons. You can scroll through this thread and see all the examples. But essentially they break the rules. If it’s a big rule then they are banned the first time. If it’s one of the more minor one then they get warnings and then a ban.
Be careful out there and definitely vet people however you can.
@johnnyquest why would you report someone for what they do on another site? As long as they're not acting inappropriately here I don't see the problem with that. A person can work as an escort on another site and still come here for platonic cuddles I don't think they should face judgment for what they're doing elsewhere
@TableSpoon Because the pro contract says they can’t be on an escort site. It’s against cc rules. They don’t want to be associated with it in any way.
@TableSpoon It does reflect on CC if people with accounts on escort, sugar or other sex sites put up profiles here. It tarnishes CC's reputation, and there are specific rules stating that it's not allowed if you want an account here. @jonnyquest was right to report that.
@TableSpoon it's bad enough that there are clients they get on this site to try to coerce a pro to go beyond their boundaries. And if that Pro is hesitant then that client will mention a name and say well **** was willing to do that I don't know why you won't... What makes it worse is when sex workers get on here as Pros.. Even if they separate sex work and platonic cuddling it's still wrong. If we're going to be real there's also Pros on this site who may not be on an escort site and they won't cross that line with every client, but with certain clients they will and how much extra it would cost.. I guarantee you that happens... If you were to mention to the outside world that you're part of a cuddling site as a client or a pro for that matter the general public is going to assume that this is just a cover for the oldest profession.. And you might think I'm being crazy but I promise you it won't take much( if it hasn't happened already) for law enforcement to put their eyes on the cuddle community.. All it would take is an over ambitious DA or police chief to look into this and maybe put some undercover officers as Pros or clients.. And the next thing you know you'll see people on this side getting perp walked on the 5:00 news.. You might think that's crazy and maybe it is but don't be surprised if one day that happens..
