First time poster here, and I thought I'd start with one of my poems, as the joy is in the sharing, especially this one.
Joyful Abandon
What this life needs is some joyful abandon, some wild wandering. Fill it with some whooping, some dance, some singing.
Throw arms overhead in a giant exhale. Gather the magic dust and toss it to a new friend.
Show the body it can still hum.
Written on the trail after an objectively "bad" night during which I decided I was "done with this shit." Instead of worry, I went the other way. I met insomnia with joy, put on some music and hummed. I make no claim to durable "recovery." This was just one night, but a joyful one.
