Have you ever had a dream so powerful so vivid that even after you're awake you could close your eyes and dive back into the dream even in the awakened state almost like you're tethered through a VR glasses and you can still look around and explore inside the dream environment

You open your eyes go back to the real world and then close your eyes again and go back into the dream world simultaneously while being fully conscious

I experienced this for the first time I thought I recently got in a car accident and I was thinking about something that hasn't happened yet that had nothing to do with me but while I was awake I could close my eyes and go to the dream and almost continue to dream as if I was expanding on to the next chapter of it

    Sounds like a lucid dream and then you just kept it going in a daydream after you woke up

    I have lot of experience with lucid dreaming. I don't know how I learned to do it but years ago I developed the ability to induce it intentionally. Unfortunately it wasn't always a pleasurable experience so I stopped. Still get it on occasion. Certain things are not good about it so be careful my friend.

    That sounds interesting, I've always wished I could see things that are not usually visible with eyes alone 😔 Alas, it's never happened for me

    Best dream I had was the most pure, beautiful experience/sensation I’ve ever felt. I was an unborn child in a womb. Found out a week later my friend was pregnant

    You could have had a false awakening and went right back into your dream!
