The following appears on page 155 of The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon. Its sentiment reminded me of this community.

For what it's worth, I thought the book was excellent throughout, as did my wife and her book club. Of course, you can find summaries, reviews, and trigger warnings online. This quote is all I wanted to share.
