Can we just talk about water beds for a minute??? They used to be a big deal and now it’s like they don’t exist. It would make for an extra soothing sesh I would think 🤔 Like floating… being on waves like rocking yourself to sleep….. Dang. Feeling nostalgic.
@GroundingLight I remember, my mother had one when I was growing up. I used to get on it and make waves. I remember she said it was super heavy and hard to move, plus the risk of leakage, so I think that's why they went out of fashion. Such a blast from the past.
I love waterbeds! I was just looking online yesterday to see if they are still for sale. I started with a bladder type and then owned soft sided. I now have a purple mattress with a massager.

My ideal cuddle scenario would be with someone who speaks fluent nerd, watching either cartoons/anime or a really good movie, on a really soft cozy surface.

My ideal is with someone I can feel fully safe to be myself and have no strings attached or pressure to do more than cuddle and vibe, nice dark or dimly lit room to help calm down, be as close together as possible, take turns laying on each other, and maybe do some cuddles in the pool as well because hugging in the pool makes you feel weightless.
Edit: oh and the ability to talk my heart out or be quiet as a mouse and just soak in the moment

For me, the ideal cuddle is one where there’s a genuine emotional connection. 🤍 Not romantic or sexual — just that really comfortable kind of closeness where you can talk about anything, laugh together, be vulnerable, and completely relax around each other. I think once you have that level of trust and connection, cuddling feels completely different. Even something as simple as holding someone’s hand, playing with their hair, or pulling them a little closer feels more meaningful because there’s actual warmth and intention behind it.
That’s honestly my favorite part of cuddling — getting to know someone well enough that you stop thinking about how you’re cuddling and just melt into each other’s company. 🥰 I’d take that kind of session over technically “perfect” cuddle positions any day.
