  • Alchemy. Learn about plants and how to use them medicinally, energetically and spiritually 🪶♥️🔥🙌🏽

  • Oh sometime depends where you live. I like to hike during fall ,spring..... Many trails in AZ here. Lots of cool people who aren't staring at screens or having earbuds on and just enjoying nature.

I also recommend building model kits
If you have any bodies of water like lakes I recommend paddleboating, kayaking etc. Always wear your life vest even if your best swimmer on earth.

  • @GroundingLight turn lead into gold!

  • Hotworx workouts and learning Japanese

  • At the beach or surfing 🏄🏻‍♀️

  • Make Kandi cuffs!! Stare at your pets… this second one is more of an obsession than a hobby I think… 🤔

  • bowling, karaoke, learning guitar, bass, piano, drums, singing, or some other instrument, learn html, CSS, javascript, python, java, C#, c++, etc., birdwatching, horseback riding, martial arts, gardening, knitting, crocheting, painting, drawing, origami, nail art, video games, learn new board games, watch anime, pottery, soap making, embroidery, candle making, rock climbing, bicycling, stargazing, astronomy, photography, baking, do surveys, learn a new language (possibly starting with duolingo just for a few words and sentences at first) for just a few ideas.

  • Minecraft
There’s infinite ways to play it

  • Hot pilates/yoga, barre exercise classes
DIY home projects: paint, tile, remove old and install new cabinets, bathroom/kitchen remodel, roofing, upgrading and installing new upgraded windows and doors
DIY car stuff: maintenance, rebuilding suspension s, replacing motor mounts, keeping multiple old cars on the road

  • Karaoke is an activity I sometimes enjoy and I can do that from home. I like to sing baby shark or what does the fox say if I have free time

  • @GroundingLight yes! I been studying herbalism and other types of holistic health for about 7 years now. There's so many avenues within these studies that I never get bored.

  • I love Jiu jitsu... as well as kickboxing. martial arts is the most fun thing I do, and such a good workout. dance communities can be similar, I recommend Brazilian Zouk for a cuddly vibe

  • Maybe Geocaching? Basically using a GPS to find hidden containers scattered around.

I do it mainly as an excuse to explore new places. You get some weird ones for sure.

  • @MeltMyWay
The rabbit hole runs deep! I love what you can gain from it all but the best part is there’s always something new to learn! And once you see things first hand actually work or heal someone or something it’s like a switch is flipped and you can’t get enough!!!

@wilderdude Why would I want to turn lead into gold? That wouldn’t benefit my soul purpose. I’m not here to be rich in gold… I’m a healer. Gold doesn’t excite me. Helping others does. 😊

  • I enjoy watching paint dry.

  • “Spend Your Free Time”. Are we monetizing “free” time?

  • So geocaching is kind of like dowsing?

  • Whatever you do, don’t start into pottery. It is instantly addictive, far too time consuming, and pretty damn expensive too. I can’t get enough!

  • I attend a weekly trivia night at a pub, play D&D on weekends, and joined a book club that meets 1-2 times a month. They're all super fun!

  • @SoftnSmiley I was thinking of maybe taking a pottery class. I’m a total noob but it might be cool to get into arts and crafts again after not touching a paint brush in so many years.

  • If i was in Florida I would take up kite surfing.

  • Yoga, meditation, breath work. They all tend to reinforce each other.

  • Volunteer. It makes you happier, helps others, and allows you to hone skills for employment in the future, make connections, and channel your passions. All for free. My main hobby has been volunteering for 25 years, and I'll do it as long as I physically can.

  • Free time? What is this sorcery of which you speak? 😂

I am transitioning into career 5.1 (1st significant upgrade to my 5th career). I am leaving the safety net of employer provided healthcare benefits behind and venturing out solo again like I did in career 3.0.

The upside is I have tremendous schedule flexibility as I do not report to anyone other than myself. The downside is I now have the most demanding boss I have ever worked for 😂

When he lets me have a few hours away from work, I enjoy bike riding, especially mountain biking.

  • I volunteer with four diverse non-profits.

  • I enjoy walking, running, and cycling (which gets me time outside in nature and keeps this old body going, and working out with light/medium weights. If you’re looking for something less physical that isn’t expensive, I also find crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles enjoyable. They make me think, and involve logic and reasoning skills (which keep my mind sharper), and if I need to step away and do something else, I can pick back up whenever I want.

Also, as mentioned earlier, leaning an instrument, or a language (Duolingo is awesome) is also fun, and can be useful as well as soothing and therapeutic.

  • Learn a skill that can always benefit you in the long run! Such as trading, exercise class, learn a new language, play an instrument, read more books, meditate, etc

  • Having pina coladas and walking in the rain

  • @marsmallow I tried something called high roping for the first time today and that was cool (weird walkways and ziplines in the trees)
