Too much is happening all at once. I'm still trying to process the fact that Dolly is gone and 24 hours later, Tim Curry passes. This year is becoming very volatile.
Also yes, as the typical Millennial, my first time seeing him was the manager of the hotel Kevin was staying in Home Alone 2 and I will always see him as that. 😅 I will admit his work in the movie Clue, masterclass material.
People forget that in 1978 Curry had a pop hit that was totally unconnected to his movies. Here it is:
I had no idea he had a stroke and was using a wheelchair. Props to him for re-learning how to speak, and going back into voice acting.

The roles I'll remember him the most for are Skullmaster from Mighty Max, MAL from Captain Planet, Nigel Thornberry from the wild Thornberrys, Hexxus from Ferngully, Kilokahn from Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad, and Emperor Doviculus from Brütal Legend.
I don't think there can be anyone with a voice like his.
I remeber my first rocky horror picture show experience... I got called up on stage and dragged into being part of the act. That was a really fun experience I won't ever forget.
My first few memories of Tim Curry was from a film called The Worst Witch he played "The Grand Wizard". Lol 😂
It came on HBO around Halloween 🎃, we watched it every time it came on.
And of course his portrayal of Rooster in Annie, will always be with me. 😁
