I’ve never seen the movie The Exorcist before. Probably the most shocking thing ever, although I have seen clips but would like to see the full movie come Halloween. I also heard to skip Exorcist 2 and go straight to Exorcist 3, which I’m excited to see since George C Scott is one of my favorite actors.

    I haven’t seen it ever. In fact there are several “classics” I haven’t seen. Like the godfather movies. Or reservoir dogs.

    But when I hear someone say they’ve never seen the original muppet movie, I feel an immediate urge to correct this for them.

    That's okay, I've never seen Oppenheimer or Avatar or Schindler's List. Or a lot of the classics like Dr. Strangelove.

    My friends are practically scandalized by my lack of culture.

    I have, however, seen A Goofy Movie (and the Original Muppet Movie) 👌🏽

    I don’t think I’ve seen the original Muppet movie or if I have it was a LONG time ago on TV. I haven’t rode the new Muppets-themed Rockin’ Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios either.

    And I still need to see Muppets Treasure Island for the Late Tim Curry.

    I have seen Muppets Christmas Carol. I’ll say that.

    Ugh, for real, even 50 First Dates gave away that spoiler! I finally did watch it though, a couple months ago. It's frustrating when people assume that just because something is popular, or it's been a handful of years, they don't have to give spoiler warnings.

    By the way...he is...Luke's father. 😐

    @Kaybloom the first four seasons are great. Afterwards, it pretty much sucks. They had to make up content because GRRM still to this day won’t finish the books.

    For me, Game of Thrones was really exceptional, when it was following Martin's books. But the last couple seasons when the showrunners had to carry the story forward themselves... they kinda wrecked it for me to the point it was almost comically bad...
    Also always love me some South Park! Grateful Matt and Trey kept it for themselves... 🙏💛✌️

    I've never seen a single episode of Stranger Things and based on the visceral reaction from the ending, I'm personally glad I haven't. I got royally burned from how dull the final season of Game of Thrones after investing 8 years into it and it's a feeling I don't want to revisit again. 😂

    @ProfHermes I just legit saw your post and I concur. I still got a lot of love for the series. Despite the final season, it hasn't deterred me from watching House of the Dragon. I'm definitely a medieval fantasy buff for the same reason I picked Lord of the Rings over Harry Potter when those two were pop culture icons of the early 2000s.

    The Exorcist is obviously a classic, but it's definitely not going to deeply terrify you like today's movies can. Like leave the lights on and go to bed kind of scared. LOL

    If you want something a bit more modern, the Conjuring series or Insidious are insanely excellent. Or, there's a tv show now called Evil which is my favorite even above those movie series (and I have seen every single one in both series obvs).

    And GoT is such a great show. Until the ending. They really messed up the entire show with that horrible ending, and totally betrayed the character, but whatever. :P

    I am definitely all about the HORROR! I love all the things. I’ve seen probably every scary movie out there, even the cheezy ones simple because I HAVE TO DO IT lol
    Scary movies aren’t just for October, it’s a year round thing in my house!
    On Christmas we traditionally watch Krampus 🤣

    I absolutely agree that the Conjuring series is hands down the BEST for so many reasons. They tied them together so beautifully I can’t handle!
    Next fav is Insidious for sure!
    Just saw the new one the other day when it came out and it did not disappoint.

    Fun fact:The Excorcist was extreme for it's time. They originally wanted it rated X. I have only seen clips like those shown at the Oscars.
