When to stop.

I’m sorry I put everyone through that. I owe the community a few minutes of their life that they’ll never get back.

    OK now I need a nap…….

  • I’ve had moments I’ve stepped back and took a break, and that’s helped others I have genuinely debated quitting, unfortunately there is a bad side to the site, for myself I find I normally end up with a session that reminds me why I started cuddling and how beautiful it can be, this normally happens soon after the bad cuddle, or the feeling of overwhelmed hits.. I’ve also made alot of genuine friendships through cuddling and it would be hard to close the door on them..

    @jonnyquest
Dude, I get it. Profoundly. And I’m sorry. The world is absolutely nuts and does seem to be getting worse in so many ways. We’re more digitally connected than ever, but lonelier and more isolated in equal measure. And it’s killing us slowly.

  • Right now the only reason why I’d want to take a break is for financial purposes. Cuddling does get expensive especially when you do 4+ hour sessions. I’m taking a pretty big break this month to play financial catch up, especially since I probably have to get a lot of work done on my car.

  • Hey everyone. Im new here and just reading through things to learn. Ive seen many mentions about cost. Does EVERYONE charge a fee? I only see rates on a few pros but not on everyone's profiles. Thank you.

  • I agree with the sentiment that if cuddling is not an uplifting experience and a draining one, its time to take a break. I love it and it truly saddens me to read the experiences where some folks feel they were being treated as less then whole. I personally love it and can on envision taking breaks when school or family life takes a priority. I would never date someone that had a problem with how i chose earn income. That's wild to me.

When you say stop is it inthe name of love, is it hammer time or should I collaborate and listen?

  • @affection2026 Welcome to CC
The only ones allowed to charge a fee, are profiles marked Pro. Anyone else you come across who tries to, you should report their profile.
    Happy cuddling 🫂

  • @MeltMyWay thank you for the reply. I haven't had any interactions yet so it hasn't been an issue. Reading through some of the threads Ive seen people say they stepped away due to costs so it just made me curious. It seemed most didn't charge any fees so I was trying to understand from their perspective, why pay a pro if there are people willing to spend time for free? Could be as simple as availability and expectations. Maybe I'll understand more as I go along and keep reading. Have a great day!

  • @WestsideMarc

I had to re-read the the "confusing" part but understood where you were going and could fill in between the lines.

  • I don't know, the various situations you described sound to me like just the entire breadth of human experiences and the various situations cuddlers could be in. Perhaps you're tired of people's various problems, and sure taking a break could help.

  • Sometimes when our cup is empty, it will not become full from others but instead from turning within, healing our inner child, and detaching from the constant need to seek comfort elsewhere. I just had to do this recently. I wish you the best.

  • obligatory mention that I am a pro

I will be cuddling and involved in cuddly communities until I am deceased. 😂 That said, sometimes filtering out weirdos and the emotional labor involved with being a pro is draining. And the rest of my professional life may eventually conflict with pro cuddling.

So at some point, I will likely transition to enthusiast. But I will always be involved, and even with making money and being a professional, the best part about CC has been the community and the friends I've made.

I highly recommend socializing and attending events related to cuddling if you can. I have met the coolest people through cuddling, and I think it's worth the weird interactions or no shows or ghosting. But any community is whatever you make it and whatever you invest in it!
