Am I being too paranoid?

If a cuddler agrees to cuddle, then does not accept your appointment request, then accepts a second one after you cancel the first one, then cancels it a few hours before the time, then asks you to text her... am I crazy for not wanting to text her at all? I just want to get out of the conversation. Am I being weird, paranoid and judgmental? I just feel like there is a little bit of drama or perhaps even too much excitement for me. I just want a peaceful cuddle. Thoughts?

It sounds like she is trying to go around the platform. A mod should weigh in on this.

(Out of curiosity what did she put down as the reason?)

  • You are not paranoid at all. You probably should report it.

  • I mean, I don't want to be a snitch or anything. I don't care what people do. I just don't want to personally be part of any shenanigans. Just here to find some peace...

  • I'm not reporting anything. I'm currently leaving the country and checking myself into the witness protection program. Do they have self check in?

  • (Out of curiosity what did she put down as the reason?)

just a string of the letter m. I'm not sure if she was just hitting any random key or meant to imply that she was thinking hard about it. Or perhaps that she was canceling because she had a dinner opportunity that was too delicious to pass up. It was cryptic.

  • She sent a nice message about the confusion. I think it's all ok. We will leave it canceled and move on.

@metropol Everyone has a block button that comes in handy in situations like this. If a report like this came in, the most that would be done is a mod might put a note in her file unless some clear rule breaking was found in her background. At that point, something else might happen. But based on this conversation alone, no rules have been broken.

I always advise anyone who asks, and sometimes even if they don't ask, that if someone is too difficult to book, back away and find someone else.

  • Sending a report to the mods isn't snitching - it's potentially helping keep all members safer. If no rules have been broken, reporting doesn't hurt anything. If rules have been broken, the mods will address the issue appropriately.

It is because people don't want to "snitch" or "tattletale" that repeat offenders end up staying on the site far longer than the ought and rack up increasing numbers of victims, be it scam or abuse. If you see something, say something. It really is that simple.
