There's a difference between casual platonic touch and cuddling. For me, cuddling specifically is platonic, non-sexual touch that is intentionally used to express affection. I'm a life-long dancer and strongly recommend contact improv and formal dance styles as a method of getting touch needs met, but that doesn't mean they're the same thing as cuddling. That doesn't mean the touch given and received isn't impactful or meaningful - it just isn't "cuddling". Rather, cuddling, dancing, casual touch (brief hugs, hand shakes, petting head or shoulders, etc.), massage, etc. all fall under "beneficial non-sexual touch" π€·π»ββοΈ
Not cuddling, but hella fun! The energy at hardcore shows is addicting. Being smashed inside a horde of people all screaming the lyrics together is a powerful experience.

My opinion, for whatever it's worth here, is that a mosh pit ain't cuddling.
Yeahβ¦if mosh pit is cuddling youβre not doing it right. π
Mosh pits are my safe space! I wouldn't say cuddling, I call it platonic touch therapy.
While I have cuddled during metal concerts multiple times, it's always been AWAY from mosh pits. π«ππ«ππ«π
Glad you had a great time, aside from the mild concussion of course! π π
