Buckhead people — where do you eat? 👀🍝

Okay Atlanta people, help a girl out. 😂 I’m in town for the CC meetup this weekend and I’m staying in Buckhead today, which made me realize this is one part of Atlanta I really don’t know very well. 😂 I’ve been to Atlanta plenty, but I don’t usually spend much time over here, so I have absolutely no idea where I should be eating.

I’m open to pretty much anything that’s genuinely good — restaurants, little hidden gems, coffee, brunch, dessert, whatever you think is worth trying. 🥰

My only extremely important personality trait for purposes of this discussion is that I am an unapologetic carb lover. 😂 Bread, pasta, potatoes, cheese… if your recommendation involves an irresponsible quantity of carbohydrates, you have my attention. 🍝🥖

I’m here today, so bonus points for somewhere in/around Buckhead that I absolutely should not leave without trying. 👀

    Some restaurants suggestions for some good food and ambiance are: MCK,
    Tessarae, Southern Queenz, and Polaris.

    I definitely wouldn’t be going to MCK for dinner. It’s OK, but it’s more for the vibes at night time. Really good places to go are Le colonial in Buckhead Village, Clark’s on Peachtree, pasha at Miami circle, Luella, Bones or Hal’s for steak 🩷

    @JustAGuy215 @oneprettygirl Thank you both so much for the recommendations! 🥰 I had every intention of actually taking advantage of them… and then I fell asleep and spent the entire night in my hotel room. 😂 So basically, I flew all the way to Atlanta just to recreate exactly what I do at home every weekend. 😇

    I stayed at the Buckhead Marriott and ate at Lenox Road Bar & Grill inside the hotel. Surprisingly, their Pappardelle with Bolognese was very good. Other patrons were raving about their Chicken Alfredo. If you happen to be staying at this hotel, check it out. Mangia!

    I was in Buckhead over Labor Day weekend. My favorite places are Iron Age (Korean steakhouse) and Chopped: Oysters and Asian Eats (Asian Fusion) in Kennesaw.

    @TattooSqueeze @JohnR1972 @CuddlesWithCat Awww thank you so much, y'all!! 🥰 I actually ended up eating almost entirely at my hotels this weekend. 😂 Between not having a car with me and discovering that apparently everything in Atlanta is somehow 30+ minutes away from wherever I happen to be standing, I decided to embrace my destiny as a very well-fed hotel guest. 😇

    BUT the restaurant at The Tess in Buckhead was honestly next level and by far the best food I’ve had here. 🤤 You could tell an actual chef put that menu together instead of somebody just assembling standard hotel food. I was genuinely sad I wasn’t staying there the whole weekend just so I could keep eating my way through the menu. 😂

    I did manage to have a lovely weekend though! Lots of rooftop pool time, room service, and accidentally getting an impressive amount of work done. 😂🤍 And I’m finally excited to see everyone at the actual meetup this afternoon! 🥰

    Welcome to Atlanta! 🙌 I’d definitely recommend Storico Fresco for fresh pasta and focaccia. Buttermilk Kitchen is a great cozy brunch spot, and Alon’s Bakery is perfect for fresh bread, pastries, coffee, and dessert. For Southern food in a nice atmosphere, try South City Kitchen Buckhead.

    If you want something that feels more like a hidden gem, check out Café Agora. It’s small, casual, and the food is delicious. I’m local, and those would be some of my top choices. Enjoy the city and the meetup!

I'm already back home now, but I'm absolutely saving this for the next time I'm in Atlanta because several of these sound right up my alley. 🥰🤍 Thank you for taking the time to put this together for me!
