@mickcuddle Oh? All the pros I've spoken to have been quite punctual and their problems have generally been with clients cancelling out of nowhere...
But that is certainly one reason to check karma reviews before cuddling with someone. If they have a habit of being unreliable, I've no doubt there's going to be complaints. I have never been a no-show for an appointment, but people have absolutely skipped out on me and without paying any fees for doing so as is listed in the policy, which is (as I said above) one reason why I do not pay for hotels. I've also never been unresponsive to a client's messages unless they did something that made it clear they were unsafe to be around or they'd left the site / been banned before I could reply.
To be frank, we have a policy for pros and for clients for a reason, no one's supposed to be getting screwed out of money or services, especially without recourse--reports can be filed if people refuse to do their job here, but for people who've had those experiences, they need to make the report or it's on them. Admins can't act if they don't know.
@Lorelei Hey I wasn’t disparaging pros. But I do read the forums and people, pros as well as non-pros (hopefully we are ALL enthusiasts) tend post up their horror stories. No matter who no-shows, if someone has laid out money for a room, they will have very little recourse.
