Exactly. Stay safe by meeting in a public place like coffee shop or mall. Good luck (:
  • Honestly, I keep all contact through the site, confirming appointments, everything, so no matter what there is records of who is with me and when and where, its all there in writing. (however since you stated you are just looking for a cuddle partner, and you're not a pro that charges, I think you can talk outside of the site and just getting to know the person a bit more by phone calls maybe? or skype.  Or just waiting a little longer, asking a few more questions before meeting, might make you feel more comfortable )

I also have pepper spray in my home, I don't clutch onto it but its here lol. Thankfully I've never had to use! :)
also having you're phone close by with someone you trust ready to call, or being able to call 911..having that option eases me.

Every guy I have met on here has been very respectful though, so I hope your experiences are just as good vintagegal! :)

    Safety tips for women:

Tip 1. Have a conversation before the first cuddle session. If the talk becomes sexual, then you should tell him goodbye.

For example, I've screened male clients for women friends, and my favorite screening question is what should the professional cuddler wear for the first session. If the guy answered lingerie, then I would say bye.

Tip 2. Cuddle in a public place first (park or movie theater), as Sunflowerfield suggested.

Tip 3. At the public place, take a pic of his driver’s license.

Tip 4. Take a pic of his license plate.

Tip 5. When cuddling with a new guy, have a friend sit quietly in the same room, or in the next room (with an open door).

For example, a professional cuddler used to only cuddle with men in my guest bedroom, because having a friend nearby made her feel safe.

Thank you for all the help. I haven't  found anyone interested yet or that I am interested in yet but hopefully I will and I will use all these ideas and suggestions thank you
  • yeahh 3, 4 ad 5 are a bit much for me, moviefan, I personally wouldn't want to take that much extra time aside from cuddling. usually you can tell quite fast if the person is going to be "cool" or not. lol.

I think it's best to meet up with the person in public 1-3 times before actually cuddling them. You could also try cuddling in a public place, for instance going to the cinema or maybe cuddling at a local park before going to one person's house.

Another idea is to bring along a friend the first time you meet them - friends can often help spot red flags if the person could potentially be dangerous. I'd also avoid adding someone on Facebook or giving out mobile numbers too quickly, in case it doesn't work out.

I'm usually pretty up-front about my boundaries before meeting people too, as this helps to weed out people looking for a date or a hookup.
  • I think all the advice mentioned is good advice.  I would have no problem complying with tips 1 through 4.  Tip 5 would not be for me, since it would make me uncomfortable.  But I would respect a woman's decision to make that a requirement and politely turn down the option to cuddle.

I've cuddled with friends I've known for 10 years and I've cuddled with strangers I met on Craigslist within hours.  For those from Craigslist I did hide my cash, credit cards and Apple products 'just in case'.  You hope for the best but common sense and caution play a part as well. Luckily I've never had one issue.

Being chocolate and beefy I'll normally jump thru a few hoops(within reason) to make sure someone feels at ease but I need to feel at ease myself.  Pictures of IDs and having someone in the room aren't my style but meeting in public, talking on the phone, pre-cuddle cuddles (good idea Sunflowerfield!) in public places are a good start.
