I was wondering what are some things about yourself's that you would consider unique. For example, Something that makes me different and unique from some of the other people in the world is that I am a Transgender Female. What about You ?
I am a very open-minded universalist.
I think my profile covers this. I'm your standard sentient being wearing a warm-blooded, bipedal body. A perfectly normal human worm-baby, as someone once put it. And you have nothing—absolutely nothing—to fear from me. Just pay no attention to me and we'll get along just fine.
...Well, maybe pay enough attention to me to cuddle. This body requires a lot of maintenance, and while I can handle most of it on my own, the human contact is a little trickier. But, for the sake of my immune system, I soldier on!
So, as you can see, I'm completely normal. Not unique at all, in any way. No, believe me: I am just like you.
I am an overweight, socially awkward, twice divorced, single parent to a child with special needs with little to no expendable income. And we wonder why I am single....
I wouldn’t say that I’m unique. I wouldn’t say that anyone is really unique. Except for one person who I am fond of. However, I am aware of my biases, as well as the fact that my thoughts and feelings on the matter are irrelevant on both a micro and macro scale.
DNA says we are pretty much unique and not unique at the same time. I think it is toxic to try and emphasize how unique we are as people and could be part of the reason why we are so fractured as a society (politics aside). We should celebrate the similarities more. In other words, we as humans need to get over ourselves.
Everyone is unique. I've not met two people who are identical yet. We are all products of our genetics, upbringing and life experiences - which are completely different for everyone. That's not to say we don't have some things in common. I find most of the fun in getting to know new people is in exploring the differences.
I also understand and appreciate obscure, underground entertainment. I see art as serving a purpose as opposed to being a competitive thing. I see competition as an idea that comes from sports, not art.
