@UKGuy "Ciao Mundo! " is not distressing. Where as "Please leave." can be taken as such. I simply asked. When I first saw, that's what I felt, if something is wrong.
@Lovelight: I agree that the title "please leave" can evoke a feeling of tension. When one enters the thread and finds that it's earworms that are being asked to leave, the unexpected relief of tension creates humor.
I laughed.
Now, I may be wrong, but I think that was the idea....
I've got "Ghost Love Score" by Nightwish in my head currently, the live version with Floor.
Who knows where the time goes by Sandy Denny for 2 days now...
Sharks- Morphine
To mix my metaphors: I'm usually all for using the frying pan as something off of which to launch myself into the fire. Usually hoping that the force of my launch knocks the frying pan right off the stove so that I cannot reach for it again. This song gets stuck in my head at work because sometimes you just have to rescue yourself by either staying "in your lifeboats people" or by swimming "for the shore just as fast as you are able." That, and for some reason when under pressure (there's another one - you're welcome) from myself to come up with a song to sing to keep myself awake, it's one of the few songs to which I can remember all the words.
I'd never even heard this version of this song until looking for a link. I love how in this version the singer just sighs as the end of "swim like a...... ."
So, as to continue upon this babbling brook in my life boat - "Under Pressure" usually leads directly to "Ice Ice Baby" for me because of the ridiculous amount of time Vanilla Ice spent trying to deny that he stole anything from the former song.
Super Villain, by Powerman 5000.
...I blame @garrablanca.
Even though I am 54 years old and heard Europe and other "hair bands" back in the 1980s, I didn't know about Giuffria until last week's Big 40 Countdown on Sirius XM's Big 80s on 8. Now "Call to the Heart" won't go away.
Watched a GG Allin doc the other day and have had Bite it You Scum stuck in my head ever since

If you remember that one I will make room for your head next to mine in the gas stove where earworm jingles go to die.
@FunCartel: ...Curse you. Okay, move over, head—make some room. Here, I'll sing you "I Wish I Were An Oscar Meyer Weiner." That should help.
What interesting members we have.
I guess this is some other way to cuddle! Ha ha ha
