Just had someone fake pay me

Guy didn't pay! Kind of feeling burned. And I wonder how often this happens to people. This guy cancelled his payment after completion of session. I even gave him an extra 30 minutes free! I listened patiently to his life story and his concerns in the world, just as I would do for any one else I cuddle with. He made me late to a family function I had to go to afterwards.
I wish there was more screening in the people who would be clients to professional cuddlers.

    Sorry that happened to you. I don't pay for cuddle sessions but I can't imagine telling someone I would and canceling after the fact. I think leaving a review would stop it from happening again.

    I left a review on his profile and I reported his profile. I also stated that if it was resolved I would update the review, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high....just disappointed right now.

    What app/payment system did the person use? Have you contacted the company (both Cuddle Comfort and the payment company) about your situation?

    I'm sorry this happened to you.
    I've had pro cuddlers cancel on me last minute before. It was worse when I had booked a hotel room for nothing.
    Never got my money back.
    You should just accept cash only. Then they can't cancel a payment later

    What payment system did you use? I always use venmo and PayPal and make sure they pay right before our session begins. I had someone not pay me ONCE and I will never let that happen again. He gave me the deposit and everything, but I never received the rest of the payment after the session was over. It's best just to get it over with before the session begins.

    I'm sorry to hear that someone didn't honor their commitment to you. That kind of breach of trust with someone with whom you opened yourself and to whom you gave care would of course leave you feeling burned.

    Ugh sorry that happened. So meszed up. I only accept cash for that one reason. But one time I had someone be so awful. "Jokingly" walked to the door and Im like oh wait actually the payment though? And he acted dumb and said "no I didnt know this was about money?"
    My response was so angry immediately, I feel like I just saw red because this guy had asked a million questions about my services, visited my profile several times and stayed for several hours and talked about me and my profession. So I said somethng like thats completely bullshit, and listed off the reasons how he would know. he shrugged and told me to call the cops then and I said no and to just get the fuck out of my house. And he started laughing and pulled out money and saying how funny my reaction was. It was horrible! I hated that he got that reaction out of me, but jeeze after just finishing what I thought was a lovely relaxing session his snarky jokes were not funny. ?

    That's so aweful! What is wrong with this world! there are a few bad people that make all the good look bad. I wish I lived near you I would schedule a overnight and add the money you lost to my payment I always pay cash. Maybe whatever pay app he used you can call and get your money back.
