  • @james45612 oh ok so its a duplicate fake account then?

  • @james45612 Ok we will not call you a misogynist but we will call you a troll based on our non-numerical objective criteria of you being one. You really do not even know what objective means the minute you said “my objective definition” which instantly made it a subjective definition.

Another give away—you gave us your definition of fat based on the stomach test yet she really does not have an abdomen profile shot. Yes she put a little extra in her profile but you went to calling her fat. That is your subjective assessment just like my assessment of you being a misogynist was based on your compulsion to call her fat. I do not think she is fat at all and it really does not matter—the only one splitting hairs here is you and you are using sophistry to justify being a mean person.

  • @Catloaf: It's a disposable account. That's the point.
Website terms of service are jokes. They're neither legal nor moral codes. They're arbitrary CYA documents meant to provide some cover for website operators to act as petty tyrants.
I'll identify this as an attempt to intimidate someone for expressing an opinion you don't like, like others seen above.

    Morning, all!

@Navyman1010 and @james45612: Saying or doing something to someone else that you know will hurt them... yeah, I think trying to hurt someone counts as attacking them. And in a society where fat-shaming is an actual thing, it's a rare individual who calls someone else "clearly overweight / obese" thinking that's not going to hurt.

Body type is indeed an objective characteristic of a person. Objectively, I have the body type I have. In America, I'm seen as pretty dang skinny. In China, I'm seen as a bit overweight. Classification of body type, you see, is not objective.

What? You are creating extra accounts to circumvent getting your real account negative attention. That is a form of trolling, to create multiple profiles on forums in order to participate in discussion when you otherwise have no obligation to do so. You were not targeted nor named in this thread. You could have addressed the issue with her privately. Instead you feel the need to call attention to yourself and admitted to using another handle, which is against the rules. But I guess trolling is just superinflated inflammatory remarks made to cause a stir, going by your "objective" definition.

The mods are probably not going to differentiate. We don't do "throwaway" accounts here, for reasons other than you'd think.

So, all website TOS you come across are jokes? Or just this one? Nobody claims they hold any legal validity. But it would have done you good to actually read the rules of this community before you came in here to interact, then you might not have to waste so much time making rebuttals that contradict, or don't make sense. Not to mention possibly losing your account over something that could have been avoided if you would have taken a different approach to responding to this situation.

I'll identify this as an attempt to intimidate someone for expressing an opinion you don't like, like others seen above.

Are you "objectively" defining intimidation now as someone telling you you broke a rule and letting you know that your action doesn't fly here so you don't repeat it? Gosh golly wonkers. Sorry I didn't manage to get you shaking in your boots!

  • @DarrenWalker WOW thank you for opening my eyes

Thank the mods! :p It seems to be we are encountering more and more people as of late who are judging others based on things that shouldn't be central in a truly platonic cuddle. Everyone has the right to their preference, but I often find it telling of character or even intent when these people try to justify themselves later regarding their diction as it pertained to the rejection.

Take away from the thread: If you don't want to cuddle or enlist a service , "no thanks" is all you need to do. Picking people apart based on something as subjective as appearance has varying reactions. No thanks is two words. There is no need to make a case out of "no thanks", unless someone is repeatedly pushing.

I would think that if you post an opinion on any forum, you should stand by that opinion rather than hiding behind another account to avoid well-deserved negative attention on your actual account.

Now then, the point of this thread has already been established. Rudeness, while not always punishable, should be avoided. I am closing this discussion as of 04 MAR 2019 19:44 EST.
