Statements like the following are what have made me re-evaluate my stance on cuddling as a viable therapy:
Getting therapy and attending a support group helped, but McDonnell credits the men’s cuddling group for teaching him that emotional intimacy and physical touch aren’t always abusive. “It allowed me to experience what good friendships are, what brothers are,” he said.

I'm happy to see things like this. Men should have just as much social freedom to share platonic affection as women do. Maybe we can break down other barriers in time, like the whole... "men have to suck it up and suffer in silence" thing that you still hear sometimes. The suicide rates and rates of illnesses / injuries becoming fatal due to waiting too long to seek help would surely go down..
I also just noticed from the picture that one of them is a Cuddlist (or at least has the t-shirt!), possibly the facilitator? Talk about taking your training to the next level and really using it to educate and create a difference.

Yeah. All of that. We need more of this. Less toxic. More masculine. Women have their sisters—men should get to have brothers.
