Longest cuddling session?

edited April 2019 in General

What has your longest session been? And for how long would you be open the longest to cuddling for? Interested to see the longest people would go for.

Just to give my cheesy answer, if I have nothing to do, it could be about 8 hours maybe more depending on how tired and needy I am. (Bathroom breaks and eating will be counted for your time if you go straight back to cuddling)

  • With the right person, I think I could easily do 12 hours. My favorite cuddler which was a pro and I usually did about three hours with her we click so well I think I could do 12 with her.

If it's platonic, I don't know, but definitely A VERY long time. If they're my S/O, and barring all other responsibilities and obligations (eating, work, my kids, school, etc.), I'd be glad with 24/7 cuddling. The only non-necessity that I would want to break for would be sex, I think.

So I guess, assuming no obligations beyond physical/biological necessities (food/water and bathroom, that's it), 48+ hours. After that I would probably need a shower and feel the need to exercise.

edit: Longest I've actually had is probably 4-5 hours

  • My old regular and I used to do six hour sessions, with a break in the middle for dinner and conversation. The time really went by quickly, as you sink into a sort of bliss hypnosis.

  • Perfect wording- Bliss Hypnosis!!

  • I've done three+ hours of intentional platonic cuddling. I think with the right person and the right setting 12+ hours is reasonable. After that I think showers, freshening up, etc... would be required and would disrupt the idea of the cuddle being "continuous" more than just sustenance and bathroom breaks would.

within a more romantic relationship w/a s/o it would be easy to cover 24-48 hours as @HR19 mentioned, but I'd probably include multiple showers in there as well as intimate breaks, all which count as cuddling but different. lol.
