When You are so stressed out from work and your cuddle buddy is there to spend half of the night relaxing you with nice and lovely cuddles!! I love that recovering feeling!!
Braggart.
Kidding! It truly is an amazing feeling.
Enjoy!
Isn't it..? Yay you! ??
❤️ Aww..
Thanks @chels1994 !!
I hope to be able to experience that some day.
I just have to put this on here not to be a braggart but because as a woman dealing with self esteem issues I got the most sincere and valuable compliment today. Today I had a mid day cuddle, and the first time fitting it in between other work or personal appointments.
I felt bad because I was hosting and I was feeling very rushed and doing last minute cleaning rather then giving my attention to my upcoming cuddle. This was the second time we'd cuddled, first at my place. I actually set a timer!! First time ever.
As we were parting we were embracing and he ran his hands down my arms, cupped my elbows, then they landed on my hips. We were saying something to each other while he was roaming the outline of my body and he looked at me and said, "you are so feminine."
I'm so feminine.
I wasn't feeling feminine at all, it's not a good time of month, I haven't been working out, I wasn't concentrating on him the way I usually do with cuddles. He's been with other women for reasons other than cuddling; that was also messing with my psyche, so hearing him compliment me that way was best moment of the cuddle.
Crazy. ;-) Mind blown.
Awww that's lovely @PaulaDahla ! I'm happy to hear you get this validation at just the right moment.
I can come home from a long and hard day of work, set up candles and soft music, with rose pedals and to enjoy an relaxing cuddle evening.
WoW @PaulaDahla that's great!
@PaulaDahla Now I know you would love my cuddling. LOL
That is a come on. At least since women have been around.
I see that also @FunCartel
I'm still working on how to handle it. I suppose it will be directly as I've been handling everything on here lately.
May I just say the reason I posted to begin with is to state that it was a special moment inspired directly by cuddling.
Most women on here will understand what I meant and that's who I was aiming to not to say hey look at me apparently I'm pretty. We as women have hormones or sad sorrowful lack of them. We deal with skin issues, hair issues, bloating, pressure sensitivities from touch(tenderness in random parts of the body) plus the actual issue of having a monthly which makes many uncomfortable for around a week a month. Losing those hormones causes a whole new set of problems for skin, hair, and body.
For both men and women as we age damn gravity starts to become more noticeable and things that were once firm and cut are now soft and slightly flabby. Hair begins to spring up places we never had to deal with it before, guys remember laughing at the older guys with hair popping out their ears only to look in your mirror now and wonder where all that hair came from??
So that's why I posted my comment about our parting embrace. He hasn't logged in for 4 or 5 days but he would probably confirm this also. He wasn't commenting on the feel of my skin or curve of my hips ~ oh heck, maybe he was! But the way I interpreted it was that even though I had some skin issues happening that day and my hair was not cooperative I choose to take his comment(compliment) as confirmation that I am still a feminine woman with my shape and mannerisms. I still have the air and mentality that is still noticeable to others. Something I personally have been afraid of losing as I get older.
I'm probably digging myself further into it for men but at least I know that any woman reading this knows exactly what I meant. He bolstered my confidence. Affirmed that as an older woman at a bad time of month I still have it going on.
@NC_1991 & @Esquire ~~
My post was about the positive feelings after a cuddle. Which I believe was also the original posters intention. Both of your posts feel like a direct ploy to charm me. Or get me to communicate with you more often. Gentlemen, please don't take away from the intention of post by directing comments at me or stating how you'd cuddle on this thread. Please feel free to share with all of us the positive effects you've felt after a cuddle you experienced, that moment when....
Keep private comments private. Thank you.
No snow for me today, good luck to everyone else getting hit by this last storm.
@PaulaDahla
Are you really this controlling and humorless in real life? Geez.
@Esquire: Are you really this blatantly presumptuous and easily offended in real life? Telling someone that you know she'd love what you have to give, then insulting her when she asks you not to try wooing her on this particular thread.... Geez.
Now I know you'd truly benefit from my schooling. LOL
@DarrenWalker the real presumption comes with the suggestion of a ploy and that there is a desire for more communication. Comes off as a projection. Me thinks the lady doth protest too much.
Should her self esteem hinge on a "come on" from a man?
@DutchBoy: Well, let's see how Esquire responds to my suggestion that I know something personal about him, and the unwritten implication that I'd like to give him what I have to offer. If he responds to me the way she did to him, I may be onto something here.
Edit:
Nah, "personal" is a better word than "private," because what PaulaDahla likes in a cuddle and how Esquire interacts with others are both pretty openly displayed here.
I hate puzzles as much as I do being lectured for being lighthearted.
It may be a surprise to @PaulaDahla that men can understand a good bit about menopause. We deal with it in our Significant Others and there's an argument to be made that there is a similar life change for men .
I don't believe Paula' posting was about the glow after cuddling. It read more like a combination of "woe is me" and "look at me".
Recovery feeling after Lovely cuddle session is great, I feel it. Goes away on stressful journey home
Back from work. Didn't mean to puzzle you, Esquire/DutchBoy! Here, I'll lay it out nice and clear:
・ This thread is about moments in cuddling that people have enjoyed. ・ PaulaDahla posted a moment in cuddling she enjoyed, and explained why it was so great. ・ NC_1991 posted an advertisement for his cuddles. ・ Esquire told PaulaDahla she'd love his cuddles. ・ PaulaDahla, uncomfortable with this, asked the two advertisers to stop advertising. ・ Esquire verbally attacked her, calling her controlling and humorless.
Insulting a lady for asking you to not publicly declare that she'd love what you have to offer... it's not exactly the behavior of a gentleman.
・ DarrenWalker lampshades this by publicly declaring that Esquire would benefit from what they have to offer. ・ Esquire professes confusion, and insists that the implied offer he made Paula wasn't serious. ・ Esquire changes the subject to menopause, insisting that he understands it better than Paula might think.
At this point, it almost looks as though Esquire (aka DutchBoy) is saying he's menopausal. Or... womenopausal?
Quite a subject change.
I love the moment when I step in the door of my family home, and all three of my youngest siblings come running to pile on me. After a week of work, there's nothing like seeing your sibs! Especially when they also like Saiki K. A whole bunch of kids cuddling on a couch while watching supernatural comedy anime? Yes, please!
Sundays are the best.
@DarrenWalker It may be clear in your mind, however it is a summary full of assumptions and misstatements.
Any careful reader would know all the symptoms described by the 50 year old lady as menopause. I was just unafraid to use the word. Pretty simple.
I also am not advertising for anything. Do you recall what LOL means? Do you understand the use of "lighthearted" iin my follow up? Surely your library has a dicktionary.
To further clarify, @PaulaDahla , I am NOT married, not planning to travel to N. Dakota from Detroit, not concerned about proving I am "trustworthy " so you can unblock me. I appreciate this change of life is difficult for you. Much as my recent prescription drug reaction is fully resolved, I hope you find your own road to health.
My twin brother will soon rejoin the fun and games here. Just hasn't decided on a name. I suggested Lazarus.
@DutchBoy / @Esqire, whichever account you are currently choosing to use at the moment. I am indeed dealing with some medical issues but menopause isn't one of them. But if it were so what?
I am a woman which means that it'll happen sooner rather than later at my age. There are also issues like PMS, polycystic ovary syndrome, pregnancy and childbirth and just straight up stress of life that messes with a woman monthly. Any woman on here will be able to understand and identify with my feelings at that time. In fact even men deal with unwanted acne, change in weather making skin and hair dry, razor burn or ingrown hairs monthly if not daily.
How does any of that change the feeling after a cuddle? It was an affirmation emotionally during a stressful physical time of the month, when the last thing I was feeling was feminine or as you said in a private comment to me womanly.
@PaulaDahla DarrenW saw to it that my brother's account was deleted by SoulCuddler (mod). I have one account
@Esquire: "I was just joking" has been overplayed, I'm afraid. And adding "LOL" to "you would love what I have to offer" doesn't make your sales pitch any less sales pitchy. And changing the subject from your behavior to menopause remains a weird leap even if someone in the conversation has it (or the male equivalent, whatever that is).
Being as I haven't talked to any mods—is my telepathy finally developing?
Awesome @poolman thank you for sharing, please forgive the drama here in the "living room" sometimes happens in this forums, but it's quite a show if you follow.
@DarrenWalker at least quote me accurately
@Esquire
Golly gee, Sir. And here I thought the content of your posts could be attributed to your having large quantities of sand up your urethra, and an unwarranted sense of self-importance. I guess manopause affects us in different ways, huh? Be strong, brother. Do try to keep the weird/creepy nonsense to a minimum, though. Not everyone will understand your great plight.
Et tu, Brute? Your buddy, Darren is already trying his best to white knight
So, white-knighting = pointing out unpleasant and strange behavior? Huh.
I wonder how long it will take before things go further south for you, and you start claiming that you're being attacked/oppressed. That would be hilarious.
