Just curious I know it’s an issue for someone that wants a cuddle to be late but should the same standards hold true for the cuddler? What do you think?
Yes, if you get less than you are paying for. No, if they extend it to make up for the time lost.
As a pro i agree with UKGuy. I have luckily never been more than 5 min late and i never start our time until we are actually at our cuddle location. So if it is from 1-2 and i get there at 1:10 its until 2:10. If for some reason the person couldn't extend it id offer either a discount or the time added for free on our next session. As for if the cuddler is late. I would say communication is key im pretty leanient if they contact me before and say they are a couple min late. Id say anything beyond 15min it would just be cut into their time. If im having to sit outside an empty house for 20 min with no response its on you. Luckily never had that happen. Im open to any other thoughts on it as well.
I always give a free hour that session, or we simply extend the session by the amount of time that I was late for. Whatever the client prefers. Never had a complaint yet!
I have had a couple of them be a few minutes late because in places like LA and Philadelphia the traffic makes tardiness a very real possibility and each time my partner stayed later without me asking—but they also communicated the fact they would be late before they were late which tells me they are conscientious people to begin with.
No other service industry really offers a discount for being late but I think as always it's polite to let the person know in advance. I do think that it would be a gracious gesture on the cuddlers part to offer a little bit extra time. Maybe 15 minutes or 20 minutes or something I don't know that's up to you. But a call or a text and advanced goes a long way and it's a good common courtesy
@WestsideMarc The pizza industry does. So do a lot of architectural and construction companies for large projects because they are penalized for being late and awarded bonuses for finishing ahead of schedule.
It depends really. Does her being late really cause me harm? If not, it’s no big deal to me. Cancelling is totally different. I remember being late once. My session was 1-3 and I showed up at 115. She still showed me out at 3 though so my session was 1 hour and 45 minutes even though I paid for 2 hours. I didn’t argue because hey I was late, what can I say. I would never see her again or recommend her though.
