Support for "PinkLipstick22"

edited April 2019 in General

I just read the note PinkLipstick22 posted on her profile I am shocked that something like this happened to one of the finest cuddlers and person anyone could meet she definitely makes the world a better place! C C owes a explanation to all the wonderful cuddlers and people who have supported this site.

  • What happened?

  • I know! You buried the lead!

  • Whoa this is intriguing

  • Isn’t that her personal business though? If she chose to put this in the forums, that’s on her but I don’t think anyone else should be doing it, at least without her permission.

@PinkLipstick22 had her previous card declined by the bank due to a fraudulent transaction by a third party. Pink mistakenly assumed it related to this platform.

As the bank froze her card, her payments here did not go through after several tries which triggered the automatic suspension of her Cuddle account. She felt wronged as a loyal member and referred to this as "CC jail" on her profile. However, it's actually just an automatic trigger and the system sends out a warning a few days prior.

What was our fault was the fact she could not add a new card to restore her account. We replied to her enquiry about this on Easter Sunday within 10 minutes and had her account restored within the hour.

I strongly urge Pink to ask her bank to fully investigate the issue with her previous card as their conclusions will ease her mind about this platform. Her card details are encrypted from the moment she submits them here all the way to Stripe storing them. Our servers never touch them.

I've removed the misuse claim from her profile. I assume she added that at the peak moment of frustration but it's not factual and is highly damaging. I will remain in contact with Pink to try and find a resolution she is happy with.

  • First off, thank you for your kind post. It felt great to read it after what I experienced from a site I previously considered well-run and a good community.
I'm currently dealing with the aftermath of a lot of negative situation that occurred while I was away in the woods for a total of 3 days. I have never experienced such a breach of trust and disrespect as I did from this site this week, and it stems from paranoia over money. I can't believe I'm being treated more shabbily by CC than TSB would ever dare to treat their cuddlers.

Their platform tried to put fraudulent charges on my card, but my bank is fantastic and caught the issue even sending me a list of the false transactions stemming from a false website, and clearly linked to the Stripe platform that has compromised my cards before when I was naive enough to use Amazon. I told CC this was a risk of using this platform, but they were and are deaf to the pros concerns anyway (there's a still-growing thread on this that's existed from before the rollout). Nevertheless, it occurred in due time with my card details here.

I was away on vacation and blissfully unaware until I started getting text messages asking what happened. I didn't have enough signal to login and check so I had to wait until yesterday. I saw that my account was suspended and I couldn't get anywhere but the front page. I was surprised as I've not been suspended anywhere online ever me, and I began wondering what happened, did I say something that I don't remember, what's going on? I send an inquiry for help that has since gone unanswered, but I did get a notice on the site that they need a new card and I can't login until I provide it.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's been 4 total days at this point, and I'm suspended. Complete lack of trust or respect from this website. The other website I'm on and have been for 5 years only requires payment once a month, or more often if we like. We keep track of it and send it in. No problems ever.

I'm a professional who takes my profession seriously and always do the best job I'm capable of, which continues to increase in quality over time. I don't need to be treated in such a hasty and suspicious manner. A heads-up note or inquiry between the site and me would have been the proper way to go, rather than a public act immediately when the money wasn't handed over that very day. It's gross and gives my profession a negative spin. It's not all about the money, but to this platform now, it is without regard for the difficulties created for the pros here.
On top of the hasty actions by CC, this site created headaches for me in my card getting cancelled (which I'm very grateful for, btw, as fraud is another headache to deal with). CC needs their money asap or I'm suspended, but never mind the fallout and hardship I now have to deal with as a result of their actions, and the general hardship they've visited on all of their pros on here (the real reason people are suspended on this site is because sometimes access to a credit card is difficult; I've been there myself). It's also bad business practice, which is known in the business world. Vendors don't stop because a payment got delayed somewhere or is missing; they inquire and trust the business to work it out. This is how TSB treats their pros, and is the proper way to go based on my business education at one of the top business institutions in the world.

I immediately tried to update the card when I figured out what was going on, I was unable to even after trying with 2 separate cards created on a bank-linking site and on two different internet devices 8-9 hours apart. I was immediately not trusted and then not given a way to update the card.

Twelve hours after trying to update a card, I was helped with updating on the back end, but that required me emailing unencrypted credit card information to Mark which is just asking for more fraud. We need an IT professional to help correct the issues created by these changes. My own state has regulations to prevent this type of thing because it's known to be high-risk. As you can probably tell, I'm still in shock I was treated this way.
I love the idea for this site and enjoy interacting with and cuddling all of you. I'm not leaving cuddling, but I will leave a place that treats its people this way.

I don't suspect this will be up long, but the other thread was closed before I could see it, and I wanted to respond. Thank you for reading.

    A few things to note:

You are free to allege that Stripe, a multi-billion valued company and merchant trusted by Amazon and Lyft, is responsible for your fraudulent charge. However, please do not claim that Cuddle Comfort had any role in fraud. I can't reasonably allow the spread of libelous claims while protecting this community and website.

It is also not reasonable to claim that we are putting Pros at risk because we have chosen Stripe, a global leading merchant, as our payment processor.

The auto-suspend feature is non-discriminatory. There is no special whitelist or blacklist - every Pro is subject to the same conditions that causes it to trigger. It also sends out a warning several days before to allow you to resolve or reach out to us.

You contacted us only after the suspension occurred. We responded within 10 minutes and restored your account. We also refunded your payment as a way of recognising the hassle you had with adding a new card.

  • I'm with CC on this one. This stuff happens in walk of life. The key is that these are temporary issues which can be resolved.

    Get over it Pink

  • At the risk of being banned from the CC Platform, I am surprised that Mark (automatic system or not) banned a professional.

I was solicited by a professional and nothing happened. I am friends with @cuddler97230 who was banned because two professional cuddlers made claims against him.

One "wandering" cuddler made claims which were verified that @cuddler97230 he never cuddled with via Cuddle Comfort. Mark acknowledged that this "wandering" cuddler lied about this. It was also revealed that this "wandering" cuddler and @cuddler97230 had a five-year relationship prior to Cuddle Comfort and that it was a "revenge claim" to get him banned from the sight.

The other "adventurous" cuddler claimed he was inappropriate when it was proven that this "adventurous" cuddler solicited him and sent inappropriate pictures. This is the same cuddler who solicited me.

I saw the emails and pictures between Mark, SoulCuddlerZ (a moderator) and @cuddler97230. I also saw the pictures this "adventurous" cuddler sent to @cuddler97230. But in the end, Mark chose to keep the professionals who were making him money even though it was clear these two cuddlers (who happen to be good friends) were lying.

These cuddlers even claimed the @cuddler97230 had a sexual crimes/assault criminal past. After it was proven they were lying about this, Mark's response was, "the cuddlers made a mistake".

So yea, I'm surprised that Mark would treat a professional in this manner. But I guess it does come down to money. Since they couldn't get money from @PinkLipstick22 she was of no value to Cuddle Comfort.

When I reported the "adventurous" cuddler for soliciting, CC acknowledged it but chose not to suspend her account. That's why I'm surprised CC is treating a professional cuddler like they are treating @pinklipstick22. I guess this platform is okay with acknowledging soliciting is taking place but is okay with it.

@CuddleBearRob The account was paused and anyone viewing the profile would see it showing as "paused". It's entirely automatic and when Pink let me know she was in that situation, I had it resolved within the hour. We actually refunded the batched payment for the hassle so it isn't a case of only caring about the money.

Regarding the cases you referenced, I'll leave that to the moderators to respond to if they so wish.

@CuddleBearRob Your input regarding @Cuddler97230 has officially gone off topic. If you feel that @Cuddler97230 was mishandled, feel free to open another discussion regarding this. Understand that some blowback may follow.

To @PinkLipstick22 - I never met you personally. But regardless of whether you stay or go, I wish you nothing but the best.

  • I can't believe that over her credit card and how upset she was over how CC handled her account by closing it because she was camping and was never notified about fraudulent charges. One of the best cuddlers is gone. Thank you C C and Mark.

  • You should have her e-mail or phone number.

I don't pretend to know the inner workings of the site and how payments are handled, but the scenario with @PinkLipstick22 does not need to be discussed any further. She made it perfectly clear why she was leaving and it featured plenty of back and forth about what went wrong as well as steps that were taken to fix the issue. You'll just have to find her elsewhere. Please don't start another discussion regarding her departure. At the end of the day, it was her choice. Also, she deactivated but did not delete her account, which gives the limited probability that she may choose to return of her own accord.

  • She's got Julian Assange's old room!

Refrain of "Close me down, close me down, close me down".

(@chococuddles check this out before they take it away in the paddy wagon).
