What is life, without your arms around me? What is life without the smell of you next to me? What is life without you by my side? Cuddle me, love me and promise never to ever live my side. ~Jane Thomson
“He imagined them sitting somewhere, just enjoying each other's company, her head on his chest, his arm around her. And he realized how desperately lonely he had become.“
She saw the whole world in his eyes as they caressed one another. Mother Nature did her rain dance on the tin roof on the stormy Southern night. She wished, as she reveled in her contentment, that this moment of warm embrace could be captured and placed somewhere on a shelf to be opened in time of need. The thunder mimicked his heartbeat as they hugged. And the night was perfect.
She nuzzled deeply into his chest so she could not smell or breathe in the air around her because she discovered that it was not thunder that kept rhythm with his heartbeat, but flatulence from his tight buttocks created by the rice and beans they consumed by candlelight.
