  Atlanta is one of the biggest cities in the country. Alabama doesn’t have any population center like that.

  Not a topic for the General forums. Maybe we could talk about the lack of female cuddlers in Australia or Japan as well??

  Almost every state outside California could bemoan the same thing. There are few women in Alabama or Wisconsin, Maine, New Mexico or anywhere else because that's the way the demographics of the site are. No other reason and not really needing any more debate then has already been given to lack of women cuddlers already.

  But no one's brought up religion lately so lwt one more inflammatory post begin. Because there hasn't been enough controversy over the last week or so.

  The whole state of Alabama has very few female cuddlers. Compared to other states in the Southeast United States, it has the lowest in number. I think it is worthy of discussion.

  @TonySpark I agree that this is a discussion rather than a cuddle request and should be on the general forum, but as @PaulaDahla pointed out there are a lack of cuddlers in a lot of areas around the world, discussion isn't really going to be very fruitful because it's either going to come down to "a bunch of reasons that, when combined, explain the low number of cuddlers which we can't do anything about" or "we don't know".

  Top guesses from me would be: total population, population spread/density, social and cultural differences between Alabama and the other states regarding cuddling, a higher number of people having upbringings discouraging intimacy, a higher number of people having upbringings encouraging sexuality and/or who are more sexually frustrated due to the other factors. None of these are particularly deep and most come down to statistics or stereotyping.

  Eh, AL is not as repressed as it is made out to me. Same stereotypes re religiosity, culture, etc could be applied to any typical southern or midwestern location. There are also plenty of areas in the northern , eastern, and western parts of the map that are not active on CC and other sites. I live in Birmingham, and there are folks around here who like to cuddle, just are not all here in CC. Also helps if you are willing to travel a little. Just last weekend I had off from work and responsibilities here at home so I hung out with 2 friends in GA who I cuddle with sometimes. Met them both on here and even though not AL, it is still only a 3 hr drive or less to visit which as a social worker who drives all day long making home visits, 3 hrs is nothing lol.

  Georgia is close to Alabama, but people in Alabama have to drive to another state to find cuddlers. If there are cuddlers in Alabama and they are not on Cuddle Comfort, then where are they? It is interesting to me because GA and AL share borders and they are so different regarding cuddling.
