I have a crazy question! has there ever been a Mass convergence of huggers and cuddlers in one place to show "Cuddler" pride ? Please dnt bann me for this question, I am not trolling but just a thought i had
Well, there are Cuddle Parties, which are organised group cuddles with more of a workshop feel. As for a public cuddle puddle, I dunno. I heard this was common at Woodstock, and today it's common at festivals where everybody's tripping out on MDMA and whatnot.
On my secret wishlist is a ComfortCon of sorts, where members of the site gather to meet up with one another once a year at a designated location. But I'm probably dreaming.
So my question wasn't a bannable topic??? Yay ! Yeah Im suffering from "Skin Hunger" in a sever way and my wife just hugged me when I showed her the definition, lol she said " awe Im sorry daddy". LOL That's it I would soo go to a Houston gathering of cuddlers LOL Can you imagine a "Train" of cuddlers spooning each other , Filling a stadium , lol bhahahaha
Cuddle Sanctuary events often wind up becoming a big cuddle puddle, and the small group cuddle I had last week almost everyone formed a spoon train.
The free hug gatherings in Santa Monica I guess could count since they always bring a decent number of people.
nice
Totally not against the rules @Toshibazen As long as you're keepin' it platonic and nonsexual, all's good in these here parts.
awesome
The more the merrier hehe
Yes I am hoping to have a group cuddle session very soon
It seems to be a typical American attitude that more is always better, but I've always found the opposite to be true. I'd prefer to give all my attention to the one person I'm with, and I'd prefer the same from them.
CuddleCon sounds great
I used to have sober, platonic 'cuddle puddles' back in my high school times. Half a dozen or so of us would inevitably end up in a cuddling mass whenever we spent time together. Can be really nice, but it's definitely a different feel than a one on one
@UKGuy yes, I agree. More isn’t necessarily better especially, in this case for some introverts, and people like us. ?
I’d rather give all my attention to one person and vice versa. Though, group cuddles, is an experience I wouldn’t mind having some day when I am ready. ?
@Toshibazen - (1) There are no cuddle police that I'm aware of who will knock on your door and check how many people you're cuddling with. (2) I have been to a cuddle convention where there were over 350 people, cuddling and/or talking in a large ballroom. Have also been to cuddle parties where there were about 35 people cuddling, mostly in couples, all over the floor. In neither case was anyone is there to show any cuddle "pride." They were there to cuddle, meet people, talk and have a nice time.
@BlueIris ok, 350 people doing the same thing and no one had pride ? That's sad, But thanks for the info of your experiences. People would be happier in my honest opinion, if they had pride. Maybe its an American thing to have pride? But My question to this discussion was maturely answered by @Catloaf (Thank you catlaof!)
When someone tells you they are not trolling when no one asked them...they are trolling.
But to answer the question posed In the original post—it depends what the capacity on the occupancy license says and if you are capable of counting the number of guests and subtracting it from the capacity limit. For example:
Max capacity = 100. Number of cuddlers = 90.
100-90=You are cool
Max capacity = 100. Number of cuddlers = 110
100-110=Start a thread on Cuddle Comfort where someone will tell me this math makes sense and I am still cool.
Math “pride”
@FunCartel
You did not maturely “answer” the question. Do you have no “pride”?
@hogboblin You are right. The weight of my shame is unbearable.
My partner and I offer double cuddles which is you get to be cuddled by both of us in a session and also I've had a Certified Cuddlist session before with a couple. Only one person was the recipient of the touch and their partner was there in support to assist us to help the person through some touch issues.
I love my job!
