@Catloaf - Favourite books? Some of my favourites are still the ones I read as a child; "Wind in the Willows", "Swallows and Amazons" and "Heidi".
Hi, I am relatively new here. I like the concept of this website. You are providing folks hope, who may otherwise not have any. As someone, who is physically disabled and who is going through some ongoing emotional, mental and physical health challenges, associated with aging Cerebral Palsy, It would be most beneficial to me and others in my shoes, I am sure, if the professionals could list their training and qualifications on their page or provide the link of their business website. Where did you learn to become a professional cuddlier? How many hours of training did you put in? And What is your primary focus with a client? Do you cuddles every client the same or do you try to tailor the session after the individual client? Thanks and keep up the excellent work.
If you guys could pleaseeee, PLEASE let us add two or three locations finally that would be great. It would help the pros a lot. I (as well as many other pros) travel. I'm tired of having to constantly change my location and lose clients due to it.
@Keira I agree and us non pro members that travel for work would love it to. Too many times I explain to the pro that I will be in town soon and they just see my home base and they say “Too far.”!
I have noticed that many cuddlers , haven't' been on the site for as many as 2 - 4 years. Is there anyway that Cuddle Comfort can delete their accounts or send an e-mail reminding them that they are still here?

@Wesk - there is nothing to prevent pros including the information you request in their profiles. If they don't provide it, it probably means they have no training or qualifications. If you have serious mental or physical conditions, you would be better off seeing a licensed therapist. They are required to undergo rigorous training before being allowed to practice.

Agreed wholeheartedly with @UKGuy.
@Wesk Regardless of how many cuddle hours a pro has under their belt, these sessions are not a replacement for nor a type of professional therapy. It can be an esoteric, therapeutic experience at best, but unless provided by someone who has actually done the advanced education in Psychology, passed their examinations and supervised provisions, and is licensed to practise, it is not an actual form of therapy.
In cuddles show filter sorted by distance feature as well as by price feature!!
@RajafromNJ - it's already there!
Agreed about adding Favorite Book(s) or Favorite Reading Genre to Profiles/Facts section.
Trim scarcely used enthusiast accounts. Send notifications to inactive users with a link that has them login to keep their account for example or stay logged out / do nothing to have the account automatically deleted after a short time.
If trimming scarcely used enthusiast accounts is not an option perhaps add a button to check if a user is still interested in using the site from their profile screen only if they have been inactive for a certain time period. This way nublets or others don't have to use up message request limits to randomly send them a message to see if they are still using the site. If the user logs back in as a response to the inactive notification, no person will see the check activity button. Alternatively this could be a "wave hi" button or something more friendly.
Show the photo upload limit in terms of dimensional size and max number on the photo upload page along with supported file types.
Automatically open the virtual crop interface after uploading a photo rather than requiring the user to open the edit screen to change how it's displayed.
From the profile viewing screen, add a "See more" button or something similar to show additional photos. I have 6 images but it looks like I only have 3. Some people might overlook using the arrows after opening one image to see the rest; there are no thumbnails or indicators that I can see from the profile interface that suggests there are more images than 3. I could be missing something though. Alternatively add mini placeholders for additional images in the blank real estate there.
Enable date input fields or reading from metadata for uploaded photos.
Enable notifications or subscriptions on a forum thread basis rather than making it a preference that is all inclusive or nothing.
Enable unsubscribe functionality in forum post notification emails. Deleted accounts have to log back in then change the email preference, then delete or inactivate the account it seems.
Consider adding a cuddler smart match algorithm that can be toggled where it essentially matches cuddlers together for recommendations based on key words in both profiles rather than filtering by the profile options sniffers chose. Leaving the filters in place should also be an option in addition to keyword matching. Might be useful for peeps in populated areas, mine's completely dead.
Underneath the social column on the dashboard, create some columns. One for the thread name, one for the user who created it, one for the time the last post was made, and one with the name of the user who posted last. As of now it looks like the last poster is the user who created the thread.
Consider making that section collapsible and expandable or adding scroll bar functionality for users who want to glance quickly but don't want to leave the page or deal with multiple tabs. Consider adding sections for most recent, most replies, etc.
Add a like button or something similar for forum posts so support can be shown without adding a significant amount to the growing the database.
Consider adding cuddler of the month feature or featured cuddller or something similar perhaps based on most positive reviews within a given range of logged in users.
Allow site users to purchase E-cuddles so they can send E-cuddles to users they wish they could cuddle with or those they miss cuddling with. A user's profile might show how many E-Cuddles they have and be named most elusive cuddler or something similar on the main page. Pros could have their biggest E-Cuddler displayed each month or something like that. This may enable non pro users to invest in supporting the site in a unique way. This section on a pro users profile might allow two users to be displayed, one for top local E-Cuddler which would enable more visibility for a person who wants more cuddles and one for top foreign E-Cuddle for person who isn't in that local area but still sent a lot of E-cuddles for example.
Maybe one day Pro cuddlers who want to travel could list places they would be willing to travel and users in that area could see potential cuddlers, send donations, then possibly eventually finance the Pro cuddler's travel funds if the money was raised in a given timeframe. They could raise money outside the site sure but it would be cool to see that added to the site somehow, maybe through scraping travel sites, hotels, and car rentals etc or something.
Consider adding notification customizations. They flash and disappear very quickly. I'd like the option to have them stay until I manually close them rather than going back to threads to see if there are new post notifications because I missed a notification.
Rather than adding various fields for information such as books and such perhaps encourage users to add it in the profile creation screen or add input fields for it that add it into the profile text. Consider adding video games, gaming platforms etc to that as well.
Consider magnifying profile photos on hover in the forums for those who want to associate a face with posts without opening the user's profile.
Enable users to delete a post for up to 5 minutes after creation, deleting it would of course hide it from users but maybe mark it as pending deletion until approved by mod for deletion or something similar.
Add an explanation of the "Request to Book" function to the FAQS page.
Rather than posting recent cuddlers on the main site page consider having a scrolling banner with photos of highly rated pros and 5 star reviewer's quotes underneath for people to see possibly via IP detection to get relevant results for the area the visitor is in. IP has flaws but its a simple suggestion.
Possibly integrate a live chat function that can only be initiated from a pro to an enthusiast in case real time communication needs to take place which would enable communication records to remain on the site. An enthusiast would need to confirm and agree to the live session but enthusiasts would not be able to initiate live chats. The pro can also disconnect and end the live chat at any time without consent from the enthusiast.
Change the forum to automatically resize photo uploads into a smaller thumbnail that is enlarged when clicking for cleaner interface.

@UKGuy and @Catloaf Cuddle sessions with a trained professional can certainly be a form of therapy. I work in triad with clients and their therapists. An honest professional never claims to be able to replace a talk therapist, but in combination with one can be of great benefit to people in many different situations. People seeking the therapeutic side of my services are my favorite. I love seeing the growth over time of my clients. When they graduate to no longer needing me is a time to celebrate. For many, a cuddle session is fun and games, but to many others, it is a whole lot more. I have seen many people who didn't realize the depth of their need until being in the session with me. My services are WAY more than just about touch. It's amazing to experience ?
How come I can no longer look at cuddlers until I 'confirm my email address'? When I click to confirm, I don't get any email from CC not in my inbox nor in my spam folder.
@UKGuy I've sent you a message. I think this was a momentary glitch during a deployment process.
I can no longer attach pics to messages in the desktop version only from the web on my phone. annoying.
@TouchIsTLC Is that when you try to upload via URL or from a file? I've got no issues but the box usually disappears if I try to do from URL.
@Catloaf there isn't even a box anymore... wait! It IS THERE... just invisible. if I click in the corner the option comes up, the icon/box just isn't visible on my desktop. It works so whateva
THANK YOU! lol
It would be nice to have a toggle or checkbox to mute individual forum threads that I've contributed in at one point and now I receive updates as people contribute to that thread. I know there are some settings to be notified of forum updates; but would like to select which ones I could peruse at my timeframes. Seems like all or none or once daily or weekly not individually,
So a probably I have been having is people create a profile then delete it quickly.. I feel like people searching for a pro should be aware that this is not something line that for most to just be on line at 3am .. makes feel like they looking for other things
@QueenHearts7983 I definitely get uncomfortable a bit when someone is viewing me or messaging me at odd hours of the night, but that's just my paranoia and cynic side kicking in. Some people truly have different sleep schedules, and they're awake all night so it's normal for them. Ya never know!
Maybe have contests every now and then. A good one would be to have the tenth caller win Supertramp tickets.
@TouchIsTLC That bug sounds like it's related to our limited support of Internet Explorer 11. Are you using that browser by any chance?
It represents less than 1% of visitors here and Microsoft doesn't want to support it. So we don't spend too much time making sure the functionality here works with it.
@Mark yes! lol... but it's a new/recent thing as it didn't used to be like that on the desktop. No worries, like I mentioned above it's still there, just "invisible."
Am I really the only person who wants to display the username's location on the messages page without having to click on the message thread. I have mentioned this SO many times, I feel like it would be a relatively easy fix, and is the absolute WORST aspects of your messaging system. Either fix it or let me use my own email so I can organize in my own way =P So frustrating. Please FTLOG. =(
@ubergigglefritz What's the main reason for you seeing this as a major flaw? I don't think anyone else has mentioned it to me so just want to make sure I fully understand without making assumptions.
And hypothetically would displaying it in our short form way suffice? (e.g. how it is on the dashboard below new cuddlers).
@Mark I do not see it as a flaw. I also think you can’t cater to every person’s peccadilloes so I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. JMO.
@FunCartel I generally agree, but there are some things that can help a portion of a population which has zero effect on the rest of the population. Some changes effect everyone whether they want it to or not, and if they don't want it, it has an adverse effect on them. This is an example that really wouldn't ruffle anyone's feathers if they DIDN'T want it. =(
@Mark There are more and more professionals traveling as a part of being a professional. We basically have multiple groups of clients, one group per area we service. I keep my own table of clients and potential clients along with their location, but I don't enter someone in until I believe they are a serious inquiry. I would like to more easily scan my inbox for people I might want to check in with before heading to an area. I apologize for being so frustrated and appreciate you responding to me. I have always felt that someone's location should be displayed next to their username everywhere the username is displayed. Just default to that. Forum posts included =( I might just start manually entering in a footer to all my posts. Anyway, it's just really hard to keep track of and keep organized with the messaging system the way it is. Folders would be even better, but would be way more complicated of a change. I have over 30 pages of messages at this point I believe. It is just so hard to stay organized with it because it's just one huge inbox with no organization ability at all to it, so I often am completely at the edge of total frustration whenever I try to use it. I am just messaging so many people between all my different locations trying to find new clients. My head wants to explode. Lol. Having a location "tag" would be an improvement that I thought wouldn't involve too complicated additional programming =( On the dashboard just age and state would be a fine start. Some states are huge though (I currently visit two areas in NC and will be adding two more in the next month, and that is just one state), so "Age - State(or Country), City" would be even better (state or country first just in case it gets cut short on a display).
Thanks.
I will look into this very soon as a Pro update. I just want to keep it minimal to avoid clutter which is why I asked if how the location currently shows on the dashboard at the top would be enough. It sounds like it would be.
I agree that generally there is much room for improvement for the inbox from a Pro perspective.
I would like this site to be age for 25+ and over ...I have came across far too many young females who profile shows way too much ..This is not a dating site!
