Half full or half empty?

Howdy Y'all! Are you the half Empty/Full type when you see a glass with 50% in it?
I think this is situational as well? But typically would see it being half full. And you guys ?

As a realist, I tend to see the glass as a glass, the counter it's sitting on as a counter, and its contents as approximately half liquid and half air.

  • @DarrenWalker If someone were to offer you $32 million in Tax free money to say whether or not the glass was half full or half empty or walk away without the money what would you do ?

I'd pick one randomly and take my $32 million. Flip a coin!

  • @DarrenWalker Very nice ! :) I would probably do the same thing If I were you ! Smart move, assuming he didn't say "No coin flipping", LOL

[laugh] In that case all you have to do is flip a mental coin. Choosing at random doesn't depend on having an external device.

  • LOl, Hmmm would you not ponder on the thought of "why" you actually "Picked" one over the other because even then you actually still, did choose? In your minds eyes you had to chose one way or the other no ? But true no need for an external item to make a random selection !

Nah. I'd know. In the case of a random selection between two options, my mind flicks rapidly back and forth between the pair until distraction occurs, at which point I choose whichever I'm thinking of right then. Pinpointing the distraction is easy enough. No pondering required.

  • Sounds good ! Be safe and have tons of fun when in Japan !!! International flights are so much better than state flights :) IMO

  • Well for the 32 M, I’d say half full and ask for 64 to fill my cup, or 96 so my cup may runneth over

  • [Deleted User]DarrenWalker (deleted user)

Ha. Don't think they'd be putting the $32 mil in the cup, but—funny.

I’m more of a realist. The cup has water. Fixt!

  • The cup is refillable.
What you do with it.... Is your choice.

    ?

  • I say what glass?

  • It depends on whether the glass started out half-full or completely full. If you only filled the glass half-way, it's half full. If you completely filled the glass and drank half, it's half empty.
