What is/are your favourite budget, Fragrances: Body Spray/ Perfume/Cologne

Personally, I haven’t really discovered my FAVOURITEs, yet. Though, I am going on a fragrance search journey to find out. ?

If you've a few favorites, you can rank them.

Do you have favorites in the budget range of: $0 - $200 CAD Edit or even, $300. end of edit.

Or whatever the ~ equavelant equivalent lol.

    I just got from Walmart a body spray by "Body Fantasies" called: "Pink Vanilla Kiss" I haven't really tried it yet. Though, for me, it smells pleasant.

    Extra details:

    I didn't spray them. Just took the top lid off to try if I can smell it. Nobody minded, and when I found a pleasant one, I bought it. Though, only time will tell if I like it. My general fragrance rule is, if I can't smell it without spraying, I usually NEXT. I guess, I like strong scents. If I can't smell that way, and it says "testers" then I give them a chance by doing a tiny spray. The PVK, is the only one of their line I am trying so far.

    Tip: I get to try them out, and I like their bottles: good for on the go. So, I'll use for some DIY stuff, when they run out. ?

    Price:

    In store, I got it for around: $3.97 (before tax) Canadian dollars. Though, just having checked online it's price differs a bit. So, I'll try to find what's really going on. :P

    My encouragement:

    I tend to prefer colognes, which tends to get me a "you know, that's for men, right?" lol. I like what I like. I come across men that find a perfume they'd love to wear, as well. Though, due to the lame stigmas surrounding such things, they tend to be hesistent to. I say, if you enjoy it, and feel relatively safe in your environment: go for it. Some people need to lighten up, and mind their own business some more. A while back, I actually watched a video about why fragrances are really marketed as "for men" and "for women".

    My mom's into Young Living, so sometimes she gives me little bottles of essential oils. I like lavender. I get bitten less while sleeping in this wonderful basement of mine when I wear it. Doesn't smell bad, either.

    Lesson learned:

    Maybe I need to give this one some more time. Though, like 30 minutes after, not liking it. I think too cheap tends to equal = too synthetic/not so good. I mean, I think Fragrances are one of those things best saved up for, and bought at a higher price like in the $40+! It's possible to find decent ones a few dollars cheaper, though. I think for some, perfume oils can be a decent, pretty affordable alternative, as well.

    So, that I'll do, instead of throwing my money away dollar by dollar to end up unsatisfied with a bunch of fragrances. It's a good thing for the ~ $60+ ones, some places allow for samples we can buy to try. Then, we choose the one we like best. So, we get it's full bottle. ? ?

    On a woman I used to like Tresor, Anais Anais and Red Door. But now I've developed allergies to perfume and can't be anywhere near it.

    Cologne: Givenchy’s Pi.

    Long ago I had the goal of never repeating a fragrance until I found a signature smell for me. I found it in 2002 and have stuck with it since. I do have others
    to change things up.

    Unfortunately, all the women who have commented on it think it’s “meh.” Oh well, I keep it as a self-indulgence.

    @HappinessHenry I hadn’t checked it out because it said “budget” fragrances. I didn’t realize what kind of budget she was talking about.

    Usually I have to penny pinch for a long time to save up for a new bottle. Fortunately my last bottle was a gift.

    I don’t like fragrances. In fact, after a thorough shower with real soap (aka Dial Bath and Body Bar) I’d hope my partner stayed in the stream of the shower long enough to rinse even the soapy smell away.

    Love fragrances tastefully done (I.e. not overbearing). One person I cuddled off of here said no fragrances and she said she had bathed and wore no frangrances and I could tell at the beginning she had bathed because the soap wafted gently into my nostrils. It was pleasant. But as the session hit the hour mark her true bodily scent took over and I endured a brutal olfactory assault. Just saying, some clean people just do not smell so nice.

    But then again I grope soaps, colognes, perfumes and scented candles at fine retail stores everywhere. My nose is a discriminating pervert.

    that's cool, glad you found your cup of tea. It is good even if need to penny pinch to get something decent+. It's better than wasting those pennies on poor quality stuff. You are far away. I wish I could check it out on you. Though, I'll just be hopeful. Maybe tech will advance, and introduce scent feature. I've been daydreaming about the latter lately. ?

    Interesting! I randomly came across some people who "wash" their hands in like two seconds. Not that they shouldn't wash their hands properly. Though, makes me think, what is even the point of turning the water on for practically 2 seconds. So, just a guess of possible poor shower ethics. Though, could be a list of other reasons, as well if, you found the finishing experience so unpleasant. Or maybe you become fragrance dependent, if that's even a thing. lol. Oh no, according to the above video though, I hope we don't smell like onions. Or whatever. Virtually all my previous male cuddle partners, whom I mainly met once, smelt pleasant/reasonably. Though, nothing that stood out. ?

    You gave me a good idea! ? I knew about this for makeup. Not that I wear makeup. I've one or two, once or twice before. Though, it didn't yet, occur to me to transfer to fragrances.

    So, for my future meet ups/cuddles, I'll try to ensure not to wear fragrances. Perhaps, I'll also follow @mickcuddle's way, and try to ensure I wash away all the soapy/ scent. So, others can be more sure they are okay with me as I am, first. Especially, since I seldom wear fragrances.

    @Lovelight Had it correct except for the cold part lol. I do like a splash of cashew or coconut milk at times but usually it is bitter and black!

    I don’t wear perfume when cuddling, but I do tell my cuddles that my body treatment has a bit of a peppermint smell to it. I also have a body oil that works well for massages by the same company. It’s called Tricombe. It’s all natural and I’m in love with the smell. And at under $25, I can use it all the time.

    I wear Nina by Nina Ricci, it's a very light fragrance and one of a few perfumes that doesn't have a chemical scent (to me, at least). I also use vanilla soap and coconut shampoo/conditioner which are both fairly unobtrusive.

    For women I like light, soft scents (similar to what I wear) although I'm also found of notes of citrus. I dislike musk or anything heavy.

    I find a lot of men's scents to be overpowering (that could just be me being a big gay and preferring how women smell generally) but I do like sandlewood.

    It seems in my world people don’t wear perfume anymore due to allergies. I wear essential oil blends. My favorite is a young living roll on called stress away. I love citrus scents.

    Listen to me. Like I've had one single solitary cuddle and now I'm an expert...but, purely personally I am not sure about all this going au naturele and avoiding perfumes. Allergies excepted I would be up for experimenting with the whole universe of sents. As long as they were natural essentials oils.

    Having been a teen in the 70's (it was the hippies AND punks go to) Patchouli will always be my fave. If you have not tried it, you should.
