SEEING AND FEELING NO ONE ELSE BUT EACH OTHER

SEEING AND FEELING NO ONE ELSE BUT EACH OTHER: BILLIE HUGS BIEBER

If you can (or even want to) put aside any preconceptions or story you may have about the participants, you may, like me, find that this protracted hug between singer of the year Billie Eilish and her hero Justin Bieber gives a partial inspiration into some of ingredients of good cuddling.

Despite the fact that they are surrounded by all the world and it's media, they see and feel no one else but each other. And, if you look at their eyes (particularly Billie's), their body language, and particularly the placing of their hands, their (craddle) rocking movement and the length of the hold, you will, I hope see the sincerity, genuineness and generosity of their embrace.

@CuddleMelbourne @PleasantlyPunk @CuddleRiver I happened to think of you guys in particular when I was writing this.

But if others find it a could jumping off point for humor, instead, then that is all good too.

This is, in my mind, the most loathesome thing you’ve ever posted. It makes my skin crawl, and my gorge buoyant.

    I’m impressed, @HappinessHenry.

(Addendum: “singer of the year”. My sides are in orbit.)

@HappinessHenry. That was a great example of a beautiful cuddle. Thank you for sharing it here.

Hey, will you look at that—celebrities are people, too.

    Thanks, @HappinessHenry.

  • No. Thank you @DarrenWalker I hope you won't be offended but I would love to give you a big hig right now. Just saying.

  • [Deleted User]DarrenWalker (deleted user)

@HappinessHenry: [grin] Well, I dunno what a hig is, but I'll take it. I'd take a nice hug, too! Maybe not quite as long a one as that one up there, but....

(Ah, touchscreens. Gotta love all those tiny little letters so close to each other, am I right?)

  • Yes @DarrenWalker you fabsolutely slight.

Dear HB @hogboblin I sincerely hope that this is more your speed. I aim to please.

  • @HappinessHenry

You’re fine. I was mainly being ridiculous with you. Mainly.

Dear HB @hogboblin I think I realized that. Mostly.

"Seeing and feeling no one else but eachother" is what I strive for in sessions with each and every client. My mind goes blank during embraces because I am in the moment. This is why I enjoy cuddling and I hope it benefits my clients the same way it sooths and comforts me.

@cuddle4health Thank you so much for understanding the message of my post (and not getting lost in the medium - whether you like Bieber or not - which is essentially irrelevant to what I was saying - which is what the men TEND to do- MEN HUH!).

Cuddling IS a major "mindfulness" exercise. We are able to lose "ourselves" in the embrace.

I also think is so important to be present. the idea of hyper-focusing in the moment, by two people being present. it becomes almost meditative. i'm so appreciative for people allowing me into their home, personal space, and in their arms.
this site makes the world a little smaller, and makes me a happy bear.
