There have been a few posts complaining about people visiting them at odd times of the day or night. You are aware that the internet is international, right? People are in different time zones internationally and even within the US. Also, some people work odd hours, they work at night and sleep during the day. So don't be so quick to assume the worst if someone contacts you at what you think to be an odd hour - which may not be an odd hour for them at all.
10 internet points for @UKGuy. I often visit people's profiles at odd hours—for them! Comes with working the graveyard shift here in GJ, CO.
Chat ratings like on the app Whisper would be such a wonderful addition to this site. That way you get a better idea of other people's experiences with that person and can go into the situation a little more prepared since it's based off averages, you can be more authentic to your experiences with them, and its anonymous, while helping the next person. Just a thought.

Not sure how to address this but I've found it very jarring to connect with a potential cuddle, build a rapport and then suddenly find they've been banned or suspended. Or paused.... Whatever that means. Maybe I'm just super tolerant and never see anything to complain about (possible) but as a party who's never been violated by the offender, it can be very disappointing to lose the ability to complete or resolve the contact with the now displaced member.

Is there a better way to filter out cuddle requests? Kinda hard to dig through a dozen pages to find people in the same state (on forums that is)
@Mark Do you plan to develop a price filter for those who are looking for cuddles, but can't afford a pro that charges $100/hr? I think that kind of filter will be super helpful and easier instead of going through each profile individually just to see their rates

I just found out I had a friend request by reading a reply-post in the forums.
For now, I’ll just add going in to check to my routine.
In case it works differently for each, I use Safari on iOS.
@EagleCuddles Most people have limited options for pros. I think a better idea would be to display their price (along with number of karma and average rating) in the search results themselves.

There is no benefit for me to seeing those who provide services that I cannot afford.
@checkingthings You get alerted via e-mail if you have notifications turned on. That’s how I know...that and ESP.
@CharlesTwisted If you only have one option, better to see that and then decide if you can afford it or not. This industry is so new, most people have so few options even if you don't have that filter, if we added that filter, no one would see anyone. I would like to see a sort by price, with price displayed as well as karma number and average, before allowing people to filter on price. Remember that people with higher prices than you think you can afford may have discounts, deals, or shorter session options. The "price" at the top of our profile is such a small piece of all options for many of us. Unfortunately, really the best way to find the right provider for you is to read all the profiles. I know it's a headache. At least with my proposal, you can see karma stats on the search page.

I am not surprised that a professional wants as few filters as possible.
What bothers me, as a non-professional, is that my only way to “filter” out those professionals out of my price range is to Block them.
Which, while suiting my needs to not waste my time daydreaming about services I cannot afford, doesn’t allow those professionals a chance to adjust their rates if/when they realize they are charging too much in relation to the market.
Services are not the same thing as items, but when I use a website to buy a television I can sort by price range, and utterly ignore that $6,000.00 uberscreen, nice as it might be.
But you are aware of what the cost of a decent tv should cost. This is basically like if you were looking to buy a gsgujkvcf. You want it, but how much does a good one cost? I don't know, lol. If I filtered before looking, I would never know and might think there are just none, lol.
I understand that it doesn't surprise you. But know I'm on the low end, $75/hr, have one sliding scale client, and a bartering client. I'm not one of those professionals charging $200/hr and want to defend my showing up in results, lol. I just know what I have said. That since this is so new, people may be inclined to filter at ridiculously low levels and really not see anyone.
I am more adamant however about displaying karma and numbers of karma in addition to the price on the search results screen. I am $75 an hour yet I have more crime rate than most professionals on this site. Let people see all their options, and on the same page, karma average and number. Then decide if any are worth a look.
Also noting that with TVs and filtering out the thousand dollar TV so that you can look at the $200 TV it is entirely different from filtering out the $90 professional so you can see the $80 professionals. It's $10. Look at the whole picture and not just the $10. Affording something is all relative, and like I said, there are lots of professionals who have different deals and options which may get you into your budget but may not be visible in that one number that is displayed at the top of our profile. Like you said this is a service and not a product. It's not just one flat number that is always the cost no matter what and whenever.
Yes, but as a customer, and end user of the site and it’s features, why should I not be able to say, “My price range is $80.00 an hour or less.”?
I can say, “My travel range is 20 miles or less”. Should I be shoehorned into seeing 100 miles or less, even though I know that’s out of my range?
Why is that economic choice available, but not the other?

This is all hilarious to me. I've received one cuddle request (who didn't follow through) and if I filter just for Female, 80 miles and Last Week - all else wide open - I get four results. Choosing Last Month will get me four more. Three filters, and I'm golden - I guess I've got it easy! Ain't complainin' - just amused.

Can one of you bright sparks fix it so Soulcuddlerz can actually travel back time and delete inappropriate posts (such as this one) BEFORE they have even been made. That would edge up my review of CuddleComfort from a ho hum 4.5 stars to a "fire" 5 stars.

Not sure if anyone has yet to suggest this, but I think it would be a great idea to offer a Beginner Cuddler class.
I was talking to another member today and comparing the safe touch of cuddling with the safe touch of partner dancing (I’m a long time partner dancer).
One of the things that eases the anxiety of brand new dancers is to take a beginners class. That way you learn the basics, but you also make social connections with people who are at your same level and might have the same questions as you.
And then you would already know people and could find them here (hey we took that class together! Do you want to cuddle together?)
I remember my first several rounds of dances classes a million years ago, and I still have a soft spot in my heart for the people I “grew up” with.
So in a beginning cuddle class, I could see discussions on safety, etiquette, suggested activities while cuddling (reading to each other is one I heard today). And at the same time newbies could find other newbies. And there could be demonstrations on suggested positions and then the class could experiment with a partner and see what they liked. Then switch partners and try a different position.
And at the end of the class, there would be a massive cuddle party.
Then whomever took the class would get a little badge on their profile saying they took the class. So potential cuddlers know that they have some understanding of the concept and the positions even if they’ve never actually had a one on one cuddle date.
I would feel so much better meeting potential cuddlers this way and trying out different position with different people. Doing it in a class takes a lot of pressure off. Or maybe it’s just me used to dance classes that operate this way and it’s my preferred mode of community building.
@MarthaSpeaks - How would that work with everyone being in different cities and different countries? I believe they already have cuddle parties in the bigger cities which would probably fulfill a similar function. But I don't think that is anything this website has control over.
In the dance community we have something called an exchange where everyone descends on one city for a weekend.
But in this case, I was thinking that every city would have its own newbie class connected to this website just to encourage membership while educating/introducing people to the concept in a group way so we noobs don’t feel so awkward in the beginning.
Unfortunately, the portion of this community who are actually serious about this is just too small in most places to accommodate this. In another couple months, I will be traveling a continually wider area and would be happy to meet up with people and "educate" My mission is to get places where there are no other legitimate professionals currently. Excited to meet up with both people who are in need of sessions and also people curious about this work. But at this time, I don't think the numbers support having classes in more than a handful of places across the country :-/
