I am only posting this, not because I think I am sooo important, because I know of I am of zero importance in the infinite cuddle of atoms that is life. But just to go on record as to why I will be taking a break from CC. And to preempt any negative constructions being put on it.
I am going to shortly be coming off CuddleComfort. It is nothing dramatic - I am not wanted by the law or anything.I have really loved the cuddling side and the lovely people I have meet, some of whom - one in particular! - who have become online friends/penpals.
It is just some of the negativity which I, purely personally, perceive as present in the Forum, which I could do without in my life.
Of course, I could do one without the other, but while I am an active member of Cuddle Comfort I find myself morbidly drawn to the Forum Discussions, like watching a slow motion car wreck, without being able to tear oneself away.
Part of me enjoys the (virtual) company and part of me want's to try to persuade some of the people there to see sense. That this is Cuddling site not a Mixed Martial Arts Octagon.
I am sure someone less isolated than myself would be able to handle rationing their involvement with
the, for them, less positive side of CuddleComfort. But I can't seem to stop myself.
However, one of things that has been making me hold off from withdrawing myself for a couple more days is that I want to give any folks who have got to know me here and who might want to keep up email contact after I go the change to message me directly to potentially obtain my private email, if they so wish, Before I shut down my account. So that, IF you would still like to chat sometime, after I am off the site, we could do so, in this way.
As I am not sure if this message will "self destruct (in 60 seconds)" once I deactivate my account, I would be grateful if you could message me directly, over the next few days, if you would like my email, before I sign off.
I would particularly like to thank @SoulcuddlerZ for providing this unique manifestation of the human connection. And @PleasantlyPunk @CuddleMelbourne @DarrenWalker @Catloaf @tanibnaz @checkingthings and even grouchy old young @hogboblin for their love, kindness and, sometimes, just plain old entertainment.
Many thanks
