There’s a man that’s claiming to be a disabled veteran. Complete with pictures he’s willing to send. He’s very muscular and very proud of His muscular physique. He sent quite a few pictures and they looked time legit. Anyway we talked up until 20 minutes before we were supposed to meet. I waited and waited and waited.... then all of a sudden his profile disappeared. BigBob11211 was his username. Just don’t get sucked into his sick world. WARNING LADIES

    He said his name is Joe. I’m thankful for the veterans of this country and he’s saying he’s a disabled veteran from Iraq. I’m not doing this out of spite of him. I’m doing this because all us ladies need to know about the bad men trolling on here. This way we can clear them off the site

    Did you two video call, and speak?

    It's really IMPORTANT to do that before meeting. Pictures are quite easy to fake.

    Need to make sure they match their picture.

    He was supposed to meet you. He changed his mind and deleted his profile, both of which are within his right to do. Where is the transgression? What am I missing here?

    @FzDcDrrh I was going to call you out, but after further research on the OP there are some issues that may explain the ghosting, in which case, yes it was within his rights.

    It's not as far as I know against the law to ghost people in contexts like these. Though, it's a trashy thing nonetheless, and something many of us oppose.

    I don't get why some people are turning on the OP when, it's the person in question who kept them waiting, and ghosted them. That's disgusting.
