Glad that is the issue because it's being fixed as we speak - I was made aware of it earlier today.
EDIT: Will update when it's fixed.
Thank you, @Mark .
Images can be attached to Reports and Appeals Mandatory email verification was recently added to sign-up, including a block on disposable providers
@ilovethoutdoors @pmvines Ok search results should be correct now.
@Sideon Pleasure!
Please add at least one more increment between 100 and 200 miles. That is a HUGE gap!
How do I get off these threads? Now I get so many emails.

Please add a verification option _of some kind__ Many sites ask for the user to hold a sign with the site name. Make it voluntary and give the member a little gold star. Ive lost count how many proposed bookings I've had to investigate and figure out were from banned creeps this week, but it's been the majority It's exhausting.
@biancalovecraft I love it when people use Bollywood actors for fake pictures. Back when I was new, I had a client who did that, but that site watermarked its pictures, so an image reverse search is useless. It was an actor/model I'd never seen, and the pic only looked semi-professional...my husband is obsessed with Bollywood and Hindi media so you'd think that I'd be well-versed... Anyway, when I showed up to the guy's house, you can imagine my shock and the laughter that ensued. I said, "Hi, I'm Kareena Kapoor, but sadly I think I've arrived to the wrong house" and left.
@Catloaf that's hilarious. I have no interest in a client's looks beyond knowing who I'm meeting. This particular one wasted so much of my time last year, and thinks he's going to trick me and get around my ban. He's harmless but incredibly annoying and expensive. Another one I've dealt with this week was an obvious predator and truly terrifying. He created 4-6 profiles back to back trying to get me.
I am all out of love as of today, and not accepting any bookings.
When pros are surly, short on patience, unavailable, and unapologetically expensive, this is why.
Gurl, the burnout is real when you have one after another pulling crap... I had one week straight where previous offenders seemed to be joining or returning in droves, and three of whom have not been banned probably because I have no paper trail of interactions with them, but I know for a fact they are sketchy due to my dealings with them on other sites, in person and with what they've said offline.
I agree with the whole photo verification thing. Would really give everybody peace of mind, and tons of people do it on the other site... ? So why not here?
One pro I see quite often in the Northeast had a client who made up 5 or 6 accounts on here and changed his cell # constantly so he could text her and have different personalities. He would sit in his car down the street from her house sometimes. She finally moved to another town. I felt so sorry for her because you could sense her fear.
@Catloaf , that's the week I've had, and I'm done. @SoulcuddlerZ has been awesome, but I don't know how he keeps up. Verification is standard on many sites that facilitate meeting. They don't want to do it here because it's a fledgling community with a lot of paranoid, pseudo philandering, neglected, yet closely monitored husbands. And other embarrassed people ?
It really should be an option though, with emphasis on OPTION, even if the member doesn't display a photo. Considering the leap of faith we take, it seems like a small gesture of good faith. Then the pro or enthusiast can decide for themselves if theyre up to being toyed with by unverified members on a given day. At least something that can catch repeat predators, so I don't spend and lose hours a week screening multiple people only to find it's some freak I blacklisted a year ago.
^ This post is everything I love @biancalovecraft Thank you.
@biancalovecraft
I totally agree that verification should be something required by this site.
The safety of everyone involved should be encouraged, supported, and demanded.
(I’m sorry that you, and so many others, have such a difficult, frankly dangerous, path in establishing and practicing this craft.)
@Kellykid , @Mark there's not a way to unfollow just a specific thread? I thought there was, but can't find it... If not, you should be able to...
If I want to get notifications for a specific thread, I simply bookmark it by clicking the star icon. If I've had enough, I unstar it. Other than than, not aware of anything beyond what you see in the forum email settings.
When you reply, it automatically signs you up to get notifications, but the conversation is not starred. You need to be able to turn off notifications in this situation...
Ah yes, I personally have that disabled and prefer an opt-in approach. While I don't think it's generally needed, an unfollow would be a 'nice to have' for those that get notified for everything. I'll keep an eye out for a modification. We use Vanilla Forum software which is quite mature and they didn't feel there was a need to include it.
EDIT: I've found a third-party modification. I'll see how/if it works here soon.
Definitely much more than a nice to have. Some of these threads are very active and I don't want that many emails every day about them. Not having that feature could discourage future participation to avoid getting too many unnecessary emails. Hope you figure it out. There are a few I need to unsubscribe from ?
Make it a requirement that when you make an account you have to fill in the "about" section. So many profiles with no details.
@Mark For those pro cuddlers that host, I think it would be nice if the site included a dropbox that asks them to also select whether or not they have air conditioning in the space that they host in and have that be listed on their profile. I've seen few pro cuddlers in these warmer months with no A/C and on particularly hot days it really does ruin how enjoyable the session can be.
@Mark After the recent forum fix, I'm not seeing the images in old threads like this one:
https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/5816/cherry-blossoms/p1
All images uploaded directly into the forum (this was enabled in April) have now been removed as a security precaution. For now people will need to upload to an external service (e.g. Imgur) and then insert it into the post using the image button.
@Mark Thanks. Does that mean posts are limited to a single image now?
The image upload feature isn't cooperating though ... I can add the image URL but nothing happens after that (pressing enter does nothing & preview shows no image). (In both Windows 7 & Chrome on Android).
Is there meant to be an OK and a Cancel button, like there is for the "insert link" button (which works fine)?
There's not a new limit on how many you can post, no.
I just tested adding an image while logged into your account and it worked ok. I think it's saved for you as a draft so try clicking 'Preview'.
Example: Go to imgur.com > upload image > copy the image source file > above this comment box click the image icon > paste the link in the 'Image URL' box.
@Mark Thanks for explaining the issue in a private message.
In case anyone else has the same problem, it's because the link you need to paste in the 'Image URL' box needs to be directly to the image (ending in .jpg etc), not just to the main imgur page for the image. You can get the image's URL using 'View image' in a browser.
@Mark - is there any way to make all the forum posts from which a photo has been removed editable so a new linked photo can be added?
@UKGuy I've now temporarily given you that ability. If anyone else wishes to do that, just let me know.
Trying to add my picture back. Getting this error: 500: Ooops! Something went wrong. We'll take a look into it.
I'd like to see the status of a member's account next to their name in the forums. I hate looking up someone's profile regarding something they posted only to find their account is closed/ banned
