Cuddling seems to be dead in my state here

Unless you're a professional, and then there's like one or two generally. Most profiles I see here drop off within a few weeks or months, and last-login seems to have a minimum average of 2 weeks.

I don't get it. I see a lot of new profiles on the homepage, in other states or countries... but, what am I supposed to do with them? I sometimes ask them how it's been but even then a reply is half the time or less.

Are you having the problem? I just can't tell if the issue is the stigma of my state, or bad experiences with people here, or low interest... or what.

  • @davebutton - check your search criteria, especially: age range, distance, status (any), they cuddle (men), last online (less than a year ago), and has picture (don't mind, or yes). If too many results, then narrow it down from there, but start with a wide net first.

    Best of luck.

  • I feel you! My state seems lacking in active people too. I kinda wonder how much is due to the mainly conservative nature of the PNW.

  • Why not cuddle the dead...

  • What are you kidding me?? That is where all the cuddling is suppose to be!

  • @NC_1991 I think you are thinking of California ? the best cuddling is in the PNW though!

  • @pmvines I might, but only if they have bathed within the last 24 hours

  • @DaForceofNature Keep watch of the fresh meat at the local funeral homes, they should be clean and prepped and ready for the snuggles!!

  • I think I read that even if members haven't been on the site for so long, sending them a "Hello." Or so, sends them an email notification. It's possible that some due to lack of activity in their place, they 'forgot' about the site. Though, still have an account, and would consider meeting someone.

Likewise, I'd be cautious of sending "hellos" to people far from you that haven't been active for quite sometime. So, that they don't get their hope up that someone nearby messaged them. Only to find out you are a friendly buddy on the other side of the country.

Hope that helps a bit. ?

  • I also know the feeling. I've gotten contacted by people several hundred miles away from me, but no one really in my area.

  • Hey maybe some people like the way you seem so much that they're willing to travel?

  • I've yet to get anyone to respond to my messages of "would you like to get coffee together" I see a lot of abandoned profiles

@wrenchI suggest not fist thing you say to somebody to be if they would like to go get coffee with you. You wouldn't see someone in the mall or grocery store or library and right off the bat walk up to them and ask them to get coffee with you. Unless it is a paid cuddler who doesn't mind just setting up a session without the small talk and getting to know you first, which may the your case , not sure, I would reach out and try to get to know them first. Remember just because this is a cuddle site doesn't mean folks are going to disregard normal interaction and go straight to cuddling with a stranger. Good luck.

  • @Bouncing_Doug While that's nice and all, it makes things a little difficult. One of my rules is that my potential cuddle partner and I must meet publicly several times before a cuddle session. Some people who travel from long distances don't like this.

  • What @pmvines said.

I'm the only user here, in 500 miles or more.
I belive in the future anything can change.
The words "cuddle" and "snuggle" are meaningless for most people I know.

  • @pmvines that's why I ask to meet in public first. I don't expect cuddles first thing.

  • @wrench Right, but are you trying to get to establish rapport and some kind of a connection prior to asking them to meet with you? Folks aren't going to always be keen on someone messaging to meet with them right off the jump like that.

  • My thought is if they like my profile enough they would entertain the idea of meeting. The whole point of this site is to cuddle so why wouldn't you be happy to meet someone for potential cuddles.

@wrench Because this is real life and people may like to cuddle but that doesn't mean they don't need to feel comfortable with the person and trust them first. You are assuming that because someone likes to cuddle, means they are going to want to cuddle with anybody who contacts them. Nobody is going to want to just simply cuddle absent of some sort of rapport, trust, connection, commonality, etc. That is like saying i like to eat. Food is good. Give me anything and it will be fantastic . Nope, it needs to be something you like, something that tastes good to you, for you to want to eat it and actually enjoy what you are eating. As I said, there are still basic social cues and norms to adhere to, even though this is a cuddle site folks still have to use common sense in terms of socialization.

  • So wanting to meet someone to get a better vibe about them before you cuddle is wrong? I feel like we are saying the same thing

@wrench I am saying to not be surprised if you don't get responses if you are iiimmediately asking to meet up with someone prior to some sort of online interaction and trust being established

  • @pmvines I've thought a bit about what you said and you are right. So how can us guys go about speaking to ladies better? I'm not much into trying to throw myself at people and I think writing a massive message about myself may run some girls wrong if the male is showing off.

Also how do you prefer to communicate? Through direct messages here or a chat app for faster conversations?
