How do you go about reporting somebody?

What if you report them but the reason is small and possibly not directly against the rules but is just a creepy message? And can you block them? I get random creepy messages from people, some I just ignore and delete but others continue to message even if I haven't replied. This site is hard to navigate that's why I'm asking here.

    You may want to at least reply non interest to let them know. They may think you are not getting the messages. If they respond after that then ignore and delete.

  • When you go to someone's profile, there is a button with three dots on the right. It gives you options to report or block someone. Blocking them means they won't be able to send you messages or see your profile.

    If you feel like someone is acting inappropriately, it can be worth reporting.

  • What do you mean by creepy?

  • I sometimes take the precaution of reaching out to one of the moderators (you can find them in the link above) and speaking to them in regards to your concerns. They are usually really great and helpful when it comes to knowing what steps to take in regards to these issues.

  • Creepy message from somebody I've never responded to before = "You or you and a gf come to (somewhere) I'll get a room". With the word come spelled a certain way probably on purpose.

  • That’s reportable creepy.

    @mickcuddle: Agreed.

  • I was just reading this story about a serial killer who died in jail. His first murder was when he was 16, he raped and killed a 7-year old girl. He got 10 years in jail and was released after 6. He proceeded to murder countless other women over several decades. When in doubt, report someone and don't be so quick to forgive.

  • Wow... that just got really dark and gloomy!

    Please only report for rule violations or if you have good reason to believe a rule violation is going to occur. We get so many reports -- a testament to a vigilant community -- that we should try and minimise distractions from serious incidents.

    If someone is being rude or "creepy", the block function is the most suitable action.

  • @Mark I'm sure I'm not the only person they've been creepy messaging. And creepy messages can lead to worse if people use bad judgement. I reported them and it looks like they've been banned.

  • I didn’t send that message. Just wanted to be clear on that.

  • The moderator will block someone for you with an email through the aforementioned "report" function. I've had to do that when I started getting emails like "I'm visiting your area on and would love to have a cuddle session." Clearly, women who do this (they're all women) are offering "other" services which they offer to anyone they deem safe (this has happened a few times to me at or near end of sessions).

    Also, you want to install Tineye in your browser (https://www.tineye.com/extensions) which will allow you to search any and all photos posted by (again) women - right click the photo and choose "Search Image on Tineye" - as many women are professional escorts and have postings on multiple cuddle and "extracurricular" sites and Tineye will find those sites. You can also find images stolen from public image libraries and promptly report them.

    Unfortunately, these cuddle sites are the new BackPages in many areas (especially liberal areas), but there still are legitimate people on here who do proper cuddling. Beware of cuddlers who post "tour dates" and other red flags, as well as anyone with mirror backside selfies and other racy photos. Good luck.
