It's probably way more dangerous for me, personally, to come out as agender and asexual than it is for me to "come out" as a cuddler.
I'm totally open about all of it, though.
Going forward, I might start labeling parts of my posts as being sarcastic, or as attempts as humor. Clearly, this sort of thing is necessary.
My parents come from a conservative, religious background - the type that would laugh at one moving in with someone before had got married. My family members also tend to gossip amongst themselves, so I would prefer to keep it private from them. I also still live with my parents, so to a certain extent I have to live under their rules, and I don't think they would accept this. Once I brought up a male friend and my mother asked me about his race and when I told her, she told me oh better to go for (our ethnicity)
I definitely keep it on the downlow- my close friends know but, it wasn’t accepted easily with them. I’ll be honest and say that I felt extremely judged by some of them- so eventually I just stopped telling people about it unless they asked me directly.
I’ve tried explaining to outside people and they just DON’T get it. I’m honest with my family though. I don’t know if they fully understand it. But I’m blessed that they still support it.
I’ve suggested it to a few people who I thought could really maybe benefit from the community. I’m not sure if any have actually signed up but I know they’ve looked into with me
